Transgenders are trash. They get personal about a mans information but dont talk about themselves. They denie who they really are because there scare to talk about themselves.
Rocco, I am a gay man that has the biggest crush on you. While I'm a married gay man, I still want you to know, this is one fag that supports you in all your endeavors. Bless you and keep on keeping on. I Love that you are in the world.
no it is really not easy to pass as man for f2m i have a extremely hard time passing, i have to use all kinds of methods, duct tape, tight shirts with ace bandage, i have to work on my voice, and wear my jeans a certain way and even then people can still see me as female
appalachian counseling. i worked a summer program they did with their at-risk youth. i was pre-t and some parents were upset when i told the kids i was a boy when they asked if i was a boy or girl
They do, and it's disgusting. Gay people have probably about as much knowledge these days about trans issues than people who aren't in the community at all.
Your more visible than I am, I think, and the catch is you probably want to be less visible than me, so I see how it bothers you. (I don't want to be invisible in either direction.) I've had questions from straight friends (my group of gay friends are pretty genderfucked.) I try to think of the questions as faux pas; theres an awkward social adjustment period for most groups... though the gay community, like any minority, we'd expect to be more understanding.
Yeah last night me and my friend C-Bass got invited to sit with some gay acquaintances of mine for dinner, and I started to take a bite of my sandwich and there was like... a barrage of inappropriate questions directed toward me. I was like, Woaaaah, just tryin' to eat here!!!
Next time they start asking you questions while you're eating...ask them when they are going to have their next a@@ shaving party so you can take pictures (feeling ornery)
I'm wondering if you think awareness may also play a role in increased discrimination against transwomen? My thoughts on this is that while most of society is aware of the existence of MTF persons, I think that public awareness and discussion of FTM persons is much less... could that cause FTMs to slip past the radar of many people and decrease discrimination?
Awareness and visibility are big factors in that - testosterone is a powerful drug and makes it easier for us to pass more quickly and with more ease than transwomen with oestrogen.

I wonder if gay people feel like they can ask certain questions that straight people wont, because they're gay.
