36 years ago I proposed to my parents that we let a foreign exchange student live with us for a year while he attended my high school.
He and his wife attended my parents' 50th anniversary. He is my Guatemalan brother and still calls my parents Mom and Dad. We attended his son's wedding in Antigua.
The movie was lovely and touched off memories of the year Armando lived with us, saw bears on a camping trip, learned to clean his room (he had a maid) and stopped putting sugar in his milk.
Excellent job. Very well done...but Jill, c'mon..."now we are five...our family's got jive"? Did you consult with the kids on that one? That's so 70's. Haha ;b
Wow! Great video about the GREAT experience of hosting an exchange student! We agree...it's a WONDERFUL thing! Our exchange student is forever a part of our family!!

This is just wonderful! With all the hatred and racism rearing it's ugly head in the world, to find a "global" family like this is a joy.
