Just an FYI about the constitution ruling and newswire. The SCOTUS did not issue a ruling. An order was entered by The Supreme Court on William M. Windsor’s Petition for Writ of Certiorari (appeal) of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. The Petition was denied.

The SCOTUS did not hear the case, they refused to hear it, therefore there is no ruling on the matter from the Supreme Court.

But by denying it, they are effectively sanctioning the actions of the lower courts, which were to order the guy to pay despite the lawsuit having been based on evidence shown to be fabricated. Normally, when they deny an appeal, they give a reason. Unless Yahoo News is lying, the SCOTUS did NOT give a reason.

But this case aside, the courts are a complete and utter racket. This is just another case that proves it.

It hears matters of significant legal precedence and there is nothing to indicate that any such thing exists here. Research the scope of the Supreme Court's jurisdiction. Denying a petition may also not mean that it is "Affirming" or supporting the decision of the last court that reviewed it, for that (and other) reasons. It just means the Supremes did not deem it worthy of their time.

Again - it is not a rare occurrence at all for one party to be unhappy after a trial. That is one reason why attorneys and courts try so hard to get people to settle their cases, usually over their own unrealistic expectations. The courts may be a "racket" but your video doesn't show it.

There are probably many reasons for that. I could go on for quite a while here. Someone lost a civil case. No matter who loses, the loser could always claim they lost through "corruption" (unspecified in the article) or that their witnesses, who weren't found credible, should have been, and the result therefore unconstitutional

This kind of thing - these kinds of allegations by someone who lost a case - are as common as dirt. And the article you cited, while it referred to evidence, certainly didn't actually PROVIDE evidence. Nor could you see and evaluate the witnesses' credibility

@thetruthergirls The system is highly imperfect but I can tell you that someone alleging that not just one judge, but several, none of whom had any interest in the matter (nor is such a thing alleged in the article) all were vaguely "corrupted" or "disregarding the constitution" smacks of amateurism and someone who won't accept that their case lost.

@thetruthergirls I'm not an apologist for the system, but you have to understand the constitution a little better too. It prevents property from being taken absent due process of law. That means procedural and substantive due process. Imperfect though it is, this means you have to follow the procedures, present your evidence correctly, file briefs at the right time, prepare witnesses correctly, etc. If you lost, you still got due process, if you have such opportunity.

Show me court transcripts, the trial briefs, the verdict forms, the appellate briefs, and the court opinions, and then and only then could you have an intelligent opinion on this case. Similarly, neither can I, but I have seen enough legal losers who attribute their loss to uncspecified corruption or constitutional issues.

In fact, the Supreme court didn't issue a ruling, it just denied an appeal, which does sanction the corrupt actions of the lower courts, though.
