I'm sorry but I have to say something. Even though I like Twinkie better and think she sings better than Karen, Whitney could never hope to match her vocally or personality wise. And Shirley Caesar will eat Whitney too now and then. Shirley was singing in the days of black & white tv. She would have been the 1st Whitney but she had more integrity and love for God. And Cece is good in her own right, I mean unlike whitney she hasn't lost her voice & she has been singing just as long.
second of all, whitney is fantasic. third of all there is no comparison to shirley ceaser. last of all cece is one of a kind and the clark sisters are unstopable, so you just cannot dislike one because all of them are great, powerful and anointed

The only one Karen could not pull that stuff one is Ms Whitney Houston and Lashun Pace during this era. Whitney would just use her power and vibrato, and then her head voice, and Lashun is just crazy!!!!!

stop saying that. Karen could pull it off on anybody and then put it back on. And then act innocent like ain nothing happen. Lashun Pace and Whitney could give her competition, but Karen would develop a creative to win over the crowd and take the cake.

Not really! Karen would do something ridiculous! You need to listen at the high notes she hit on Blessing Me with her with her sisters. Karen in that type of voice would probably out sing Patti. Karen and prime Whitney Houston can do what they feel like with her voice and sound any way she wants. Thats her advantage over other singers, but Lashun I think can outsing both Karen and Patti. She is so high, loud, and powerful.
