  • I don't think I've ever heard Hall of the Mountain King with words.

  • Now only if it had a new soundtrack and cast and depth . . .

  • You couldn't have edited out Hayden Christensen?

  • Image and editing quality could be better, but I love the idea.

  • Amazing

  • Comment removed

  • Your homosexual fantasies about George Lucas ruins this movie for ya all eh? If you don't like it, don't fucking watch it you pathetic bunch of crabs. Go look at how much these movies made and remind yourself why Lucas is a billionare and you're a bunch of LOSERS posting on youtube ROFL

  • terrible prequels but nice job!

  • I am incoherent. My breathing is out of control. You are my new best friend. Make these prequels a reality or I will hunt you down and make you do it. Don't ask how. JUST DO IT. There is no try. There isn't even a do not. There is only a DO.

I'm sorry I just love you so much right now and this is how I express it. You're so...beautiful. You're not like coarse or rought like sand. You're so soft and smooth. Together we can rule the prequels!

    Ok. Imma leave now.

  • this is infinitely better

  • The prequels sucked, the only moment that was half decent was when Anakin met Clieg Larrs and we got to see the home Luke grew up in on Tatooine, and the following scene where he tells padme he must rescue his mother - because those scenes actually looked and felt like Star Wars, the rest though, was a pile of shit.

  • *facepalm* oh boy >.>....

  • This didn't seem so much to be a parody trailer, the plot of this fictional/virtual film might even be better than the original..

  • i wish lucas died after return of the jedi

  • and...I'll say this again:

    ALL HAIL THE EMPRESS AMIDALA!!

    ON YOUR KNEES, PEASANTS!

  • @KaiserJames

    Kneel...or you will be knelt.

  • whats the name of this song?

  • @jeanlucncoelho I Dovregubbens Hall (English: In the Hall of the Mountain King)

  • The Star Wars prequels are stupidity at its finest. Not manipulation at its finest. I think are pathetic.

  • Very well done. And actually, I think that would have made for a better movie...

  • I would love to see this version of the prequels honestly. Evil Padme turns Anakin to the Dark Side? Awesome!

  • This trailer makes the prequels look infinitely more interesting than they are.

  • aw man what is the beat playing in this vid

  • I'm sorry, secularish, for commenting a billion times and having a fandom wank, but I really do like your video and think the idea behind it is brilliant, the way you edited it, the music, it had a lot of care behind it. I really love the idea. I just had to go off on a why-I-hate-the-prequels-and-Padme rant for a minute...

  • this summer the cow will be milked. you mean cat.

  • much better than the original prequels

  • @Alexthegreatbelgian i SAY GET THE RIGHTS TO DIRECT THE PREQUALS, REDO THEM UNDER A NEW DIRECTOR !

    OR

7,8,9 OF EITHER KOTOR OR ABOUT CADE SKYWALKER

  • good story but i could NEVER imagine padme as the bad guy (woman) one of the best characters from the saga and the prequels!

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Now that would have been a surprise!

  • spoof or not, the idea of padmé as the corrupt senator is a very intresting idea, it would not only make her more of an intresting character (not just 'the girlfriend') but also make the Skywalker's a true tragedy. were i believe the prequels as they are are completly pointless to the first three, this idea may have created an tale worthy of adding to the saga.

  • I find the menace and intrigue of Padme being the emperor a bit undercut with the Peer Gynt music. ;P *lol*

  • Leia remember images and feeling of her mother who died when she was 3 seconds old?

  • sweet!

  • All Hail the Empress Amidala!

    On your knees, peasants!

  • This actually makes a hell of a lot more sense than George Lucas's crap version of the story.

  • lawlz

  • that's actually a really interesting angle

  • "Anakin, Chancellor Palpat.... no wait..... Anakin, Senator Amidala is Evil!!!"

  • i didn't get anything out of this trailer, how is it that padme wants to rule the empire? you make her seem like she's just there and completely useless lol.

  • @darknipple

isn't it like all important politicans look like? useless? ;)

  • Wow. I would watch that film. Doesn't make any less sense than what they did.

That is the thing about the prequels: it's hard to make them any worse. I'm watching this and thinking, "Well, at least that would have been interesting."

  • LMAO!!! padme...has turned to the dark side! hahaha awesome

  • Admittedly a somewhat interesting idea to kick around. However, while the trailer was well-made, I personally don't think the music fit well with it at all. Moreover, I don't see how this would be any better than the Prequels. Padme building the Empire *instead* of Palpatine would be downright absurd; if this were the plot of the Prequels, then it would just be trading one [allegedly] bad plot for another . An interesting idea, but nothing more.

  • @TKA001 it would certainly make Anakin's fall to the Dark Side more logical.

I would be "tempted" by the Dark Side as well if Padme was the Sith Master

  • @TKA001 but what if palpatine was manipulating her instead of the republic directly?

  • Darth Padme/Empress Amidala is probably the best AU idea I've every heard and the best solution to the total crapfest that was the Prequel Triolgy. i really do wish that the real prequels were just like this trailer. It could actually work quite well without major plot holes with the OT if done just right.

  • Seeing something like this causes me to weep even more for the fiasco that was the prequels. Perhaps in an alternate universe Lucas got it right.

  • couldn't hear the vocals :(

  • Shakespeare did touch a murderous couple. It is called MacBeth.

But this...would have beat the shit out of MacBeth.

  • So, Padme seizes power as empress, Palpatine provides the part of her second in command and Anakin is being strung along by his wife. Then Palpatine secretly has Padme killed and is revealed as the guy pulling the strings the whole time. Anakin is so broken that he becomes Palpatines student, resulting in the final battle, the placement of Palpatine as emperor, along with the galvanization of Vader.

Holy crap, that would actually be an original and compelling story.

  • I like this better!

  • Funny thing is, condensing the prequels into one tightly edited movie (and cutting all the mind-bogglingly stupid acrobatics) would have actually improved this abortion of a trilogy.

  • im re-making all the prequels, re -editing them so mfkers like you shut theirr mouth :)

  • This is how it should of been =D

  • George Lucas would love this

  • @ryanbmx69 I'm pretty sure if George Lucas saw this video, he wouldn't understand the genius behind it.

  • 'The cow will be milked' what the fuck?

  • means the franchise has run it's course.

  • "how can you say that" class

  • Whats the name of this song?

  • "In the hall of the mountain king"

  • the story was badly put together but i like all the starwars movies

  • music is too loud

  • I agree.

  • awesome just awesome!

  • maybe padme can overule lucas and write a new script and she can also become the new casting director, hint hint, HAYDEN!!!

  • this would have been WAAAAAAAAY better! Awesome recut!

  • Couldn't hear it over the music.

  • KILL GEORGIEPORGIE!!!!

  • AWESOME!! hahaha i hate Padme

  • Well edited!!! It was too funny.

  • It was hilarious, but you kinda veered off track at the end and turned it into another "George is greedy" rant. Stay on target!

  • This would make the prequels more awesome!

  • To reiterate . . . I would rebuy the prequels if they retconned Empress Amidala!!!!!!!

  • same here ^_^

  • @LincolnMuadib I would too. Hell the trailer alone makes it sound better than the actual films. :-)

  • this would have been much cooler

  • I like this but the music is to loud I think

  • I agree. Crap, I tried to give thumbs up and screwed up and now I can' undo what I did. Forgive me. :)

  • "Padmé has turned to the dark side".

    "LIAR!"

LOL. He sounds just like a spoiled little child when he says that".

  • Padme could dominate me any day of the week.

  • ROFLMAO my guts hurt!!!!!!!!!!!

"You're the Sith Lord we've been looking for."

"You're wrong how could you even say that?!"

    haha

  • EW!!!

  • Great editing! Your retooling of the story actually makes it look cool, and the text is hilarious!

  • it would all make sense

  • The Emperes Amidala... and Palpatine suck.... ha ha ha!!!

  • HAHAHAA ha hA Ha and HA! Laughed through almost the whole thing. 5stars and favorited! Funniest damn StarWars recut I've ever seen! YES!!!

  • Excellent! Padme would make a wonderful Sith!

  • This is brilliant! Which version of "In the hall of the Mountain King" did you use? I'd love to know that!

  • I think this would have actually been really cool. And then Lucas explains that Padme just "didn't age well" once episodes 4-6 come around.

  • Brilliant job! Great editing and pacing and the twist on the story is hilarious. Well done!

  • Amazing. All Hail Empress Amidala!

  • This is great!

  • Where did you get this version of "In the Hall of the Mountain King"? This one's awesome.

  • That's what I want to know aswell! :D

  • Lololol!!! "So this is how liberty dies =D" Omg that would have made 4,5, and 6 SO fucked up!!!!!!!1

  • EVIL PADME! excellent..sooooo should have happened!! great idea

  • Well done! Amazing!

  • ha! that was hialrious "padme has turned the dark side" "you're the sith lord we've been looking for" love it would have made great watching

  • lol 2:06 is such a phony smile. like she just conned, oh, i don't know, a whole republic :)

  • nice!!!!!

  • too funny man :) way to go!!!!

  • "Padme has turned to the dark side."

    "LIAR!" lmaoo that was funny

    great jobb!!! :)

  • Awesomeness. Great editing, too.

  • If Padme had been the architect of the Empire, the irony of her children being its foremost dissidents, alone, would be the stuff of literary and cinematic legend. Shakespeare couldn't touch that--he didn't write epics that spanned generations.

Just think of it: Vader even more of a fallen angel; Obi-Wan, the world-weary warrior who knew far too much for his liking; or the tragedy of the Skywalker offspring, all the more tragic.

Lucas missed out on a potential masterpiece.. and thus did we =(

  • @SomeSojourner Damn, you're right. It would have been a much cooler series.

  • @SomeSojourner I just can't get over it... it would have been masterful. Padme a duplicitous person of amazing proportions. Smiling and displaying kindness to the most wholesome people in the series, but really just a mask for a mind even more diabolical then that of Palpatine. She would see in Anakin a person who she can manipulate through grief and torment to the dark side. Palpatine a well meaning man trying by whatever means to hold together a disintegrating republic.

  • @SomeSojourner You could even keep Jar-Jar binks in some capacity... the irony of the most well meaning person (and his people) being duped by the most evil would be amazing. I would even keep some of the stupid funny interactions they had... and then have his people slaughtered by the trade guild. She could even give a MacGuffin (some sort of thing the trade guild could "track" and would desperately want) to Jar Jar, which CAUSES the trade guild to attack his people.

  • @SomeSojourner yeah. you are right. i mean she was queen and all. i mean that is only few steps away of being empress. it whuld have being awsome.

  • @SomeSojourner No it would have been a too cold oigin for Luke ans Leuia SW aleways has lifghtness in the tragedies, so no the motgher of Lke and Leia should stay goood, alsoit comes of too sexist.

  • @reviewreviewer1

    Learn. To. Spell.

The Padme from the prequels is the most vapid, thoughtless, senseless, hyper-sexualized, weak, plot device of a character that I've ever seen. It offends me as a woman. She has no reason to exist other than the fact that Lucas needed her to have kids and die, making Anakin turn to the dark side. She has no personality and has no presence or motivation.

Making her more important to the plot and more interesting doesn't make it MORE sexist, you idiot.

  • @shigurenovelist 1. I am sorry I have a nerve problrm and could you try bnot to swear, 2. She wasn`t sexualised at all, unlike Leia she never had a moment swe was trambling and excited next to Anakkin. She did have personality, she had a strong sense of responsible and care for her planet and the republoc, always tried to folow the peacefull route but fought when neccaserry, she loves nature, she hates being patronised and treated as a kid etc. She did have an importan role, but ,aking her a...

  • @reviewreviewer1

    1. When did I swear? I never swore.

    2. Dude, really? She was hyper-sexualized. Not as bad as the metal bikini, but still bad.

    3. She acted out what the plot needed her to. She fell in love with a killer and then got upset in the third movie when he killed kids. Her desires, goals, motivations, ideas, and REASONS FOR LOVING ANAKIN are a garbled mess.

    4. The only reason for her to be included in the plot are for her to die and have kids. I have to reiterate this.

  • @shigurenovelist 1. you called me an idiot.

    2. She just looked eautifull but she never wore very thin clothing, judt moder women clorhing.

    3. She reacted differently too killing Sandpeople becvsuse they only wak like humand but have the intelegence and souls of animals.

    4. No she also had her own struggle with defending Naboo and her love for democracy and her attempt at deensing Dooku.

  • @reviewreviewer1

    1. What planet do you live on where idiot is a swear word? Out of all the words in the dictionary I choose one that was pretty low-key. Seriously? Idiot wasn't even a swear-word when I was 5.

    2. Hello? What about that white outfit that has her entire midsection exposed that's for sale at halloween stores everywhere? What about that cleavage-revelling outfit in front of a fireplace on naboo? What about the outfit that reveals her entire back when Anakin is rambling about sand?

  • @shigurenovelist It is still insultive!!! That idd just modern day clothing, which is totally normal and my sister weirs also!!!

  • @reviewreviewer1 Insultive isn't a word. If you're sister is wearing something like what Padme was wearing by the ocean on Naboo, then I hope you live in a warm climate...

You said she didn't wear thin, revealing clothing. I just pointed out thin, revealing clothing. You're really bad at this arguing thing. You're going around in circles.

  • @reviewreviewer1

    3. That's racist. Period. They are humanoids. They are just like a savage people... there are so-called "savage" native people everywhere. If *I* went to kill the Haudenosaunee, my lover probably would say something to the police.

    4. Every thing she does is a reaction to something else. How many times do I have to say that?

Her attempt at what Dooku? Her attempt at defeating Dooku? But the boys end up taking care of that anyway and she doesn't DO ANYTHING.

  • They may be hmanoids, but they are of a savage species, and it is intelegence what makes us human, they aren`t just a savage tribe, it is in their nature. Eeven old Episode IV Ben discribed them as such, ehen he sauid they are easily scareed but come back in greater numbers, that is a disriminaion odf instictive animalidstic beghaviour, not a form of culture, cayse i human culture, not all people reacr the same, cause they are individuals1!!!!!

  • @reviewreviewer1 Intelligence is NOT what makes us human. The ability to communicate with syntax is. And just because something is not intelligent doesn't mean someone has the right to kill it. And they ARE intelligent, they make huts, they hunt, they resemble indigenous nomads. The resemble native americans, arabs, celts, inuits and...

EVEN IF I WENT OUT AND SLAUGHTERED A BUNCH OF DIRTY, SMELLY PIGS BECAUSE I WAS ANGRY, MY LOVER WOULD STILL BECOME UPSET AND DISTRAUGHT.

  • @shigurenovelist No not p[ractical, intelegence, moral intelegence, I dion`t consider Biorg drones huan either, or some humkan cults for that mstters. Alaso IO think you loved would understand when you killed a an entire Borg kube, tha killed your mother, no wait tortured, your only family too death when you were 17!!!!!!!

  • @reviewreviewer1

Why are we talking about the borg? If I were on the Starship and my crush went out and killed a whole bunch of borg when we were 17, regardless of circumstance, I would be upset and distraught if they did it...

A: Without going by Federation protocol (Jedi code).

B: All on his own, nobody else knowing about it, including their superior (Obi-Wan).

C: Post-disobeying orders, becoming upset/raging/psychotic/out-of-control and not seeking help (From Yoda or whoever).

  • @shigurenovelist Regardless of circumsstances. Well I think the circumsrtance, there whole tribe with noone stoppid them, tortured his only family to dath, I think that would mak it siomewhat understandable, he`d slayghter the tribed of vicioyus animals. It`s totally justisfied. Also in such xcircumstances it`s natural yoy don`t follow specigidc codes, everyione breaks riuls in certain circumstances. Ofcourse he didn` consult anyone he was in rage!!!!

  • @reviewreviewer1 You're loosing focus again. These circumstances ARE important, because Lucas INTENDED us to take it that way.

Lucas was making a point by Anakin slaughtering women and children that he was gravitating toward the dark side because he was killing innocent bystanders in a feud because of his uncontrollable anger. This was part of his character development. I am merely making the point that while this is happening Amidala's....

  • @shigurenovelist Yes slaughter on famikly of the killers is a sigbn of possible tur to the darkside. But a sign is not tje same as being evil or acting wvil, a form of forshadowing and a very questionable and low level evil act, is different from true evil.

  • @reviewreviewer1

    Darkside=evil. That's what I always thought. Am I wrong?

  • @shigurenovelist Not but minimal darkside, and total darkside, and morally ambigious and horrific ar e different. Anakin`s slaughter wass a level 2 evil, killing yiunglings and a levell 35!!!!

  • @reviewreviewer1 There's levels? Really?

I guess the difference here is that my personal moral code doesn't really match the moral code of a video game. I see ruthless unnecessary killing as ruthless unnecessary killing. And that's it. Sorry?

  • @shigurenovelist Uh I see adifference between let`s say killinhg an ant and a human, unless you are vegetstrian you think in levels also, snf uh a kid stealing candy and stealing cars!!!!!!

  • @reviewreviewer1

Do you enjoy stealing a kid's candy? Do you enjoy killing ants? Do you enjoy killing something for its meat? Then you probably progress and keep doing worse things. Anakin's uncontrollable rage was not coupled with guilt for killing them. It was coupled with grief for his mother, and greed for wanting her to still be around him.

I just think Amidala should've recognized that lack of remorse.

  • @shigurenovelist No I nevver stole candy. But I did kil ants. I don`t enjoy killing frogs ants, yep certainly, case they ae incredibl menacing. Anakin showed no remorse, cause it wasn`t needed. He was totally justisfied!!!

  • @reviewreviewer1 No, he wasn't! You keep saying that. Ignoring the obvious point that our moral codes are really different, Lucas had intended for Anakin to display an weakness for the darkside in this scene. It is the purpose for the scene. For example, Luke Skywalker did not go on a rampage killing ALL of the storm troopers (clone troopers... whatever) after they killed aunt beru.

  • @reviewreviewer1 Not. Justified. Understandable, maybe. Forgivable, it's up to the person. But by God, it is NOT justified. A sensible senator, someone who has power and knowledgable should recognize that.

I'm beginning to think you are just a troll. I mean, seriously. I'm beating a dead horse here. I think you need to think more in terms of screenwriting rather than just your speculation and attitude.

  • @shigurenovelist Uh killing a tribe of animals is justisfied top anyone who is nt a vegetarian, so in case you are not a vbegetarian, you know I am right. Espivialy when they killed your mom.

  • @reviewreviewer1 Amidala's character development was ignored. She reacted the opposite way of what her previous character development led us to believe: that she was supposedly a smart, sensible, compassionate, logical young woman who was supposed to be headstrong like Leah and not take no crap from useless men.

Her character flip flops and does a 180... she quietly listens, tells no on about this instance, and gets married anyway.

This is contradictory to her previous character development.

  • @shigurenovelist Sensible and compasionate is both a reason too react the way she did, and being smart aldo. Sje uis smart enough to know that the Sandpeople are tnot human, and she is compasionate enough to be understanding and kind. Logical and headstrong doesn`t mean critical, mean or overjudgemental. All these things don`t mean she would have a guy arrested or jate someone, espicialu Anakin fgor killing a bounch of mosters.

  • @reviewreviewer1 I don't think allowing people to indulge in their dark nature is compassionate at all.

She didn't have to arrest him.

But at the very least she didn't have to MARRY HIM.

  • @shigurenovelist Sher didn`t haave him indulge in it, she showed understanding and comforted him. Sjh married him, cause he was usualy a brave Jedi who endures himself for the sake of society, and his main dream was too jhelp others, and he was usualy veryy nice espicialy towards her, and she just loved him, because he said nice things, showed apreciation towards her, and cause they shared interests. HIM KILING sANDPEOPLE CHANGED NOTHING. cAUSE IT ISN`T HORRIBLE ESPICIALY WHEN THEy kill your mom

  • @reviewreviewer1 That's speculation. Her reasons for loving him are convoluted, and you are speculating what they are on your own.

  • @shigurenovelist She obviousl loved him because of theuir similar interests, how much he loved her and how nice and kind he was, and how well they related.

  • @reviewreviewer1 Similar interests? Like what?

    ....

Where in the movie are you talking about? Where in the movie does this happen where they have a conversation about how they have similar interests? What? Do they both like space paint-ball and talk about it in an edited scene from the movie?

  • @shigurenovelist Theyy talk about a love for nature and the homeworld of Naboo at the vista bu the lake, remember??? they both discuss plitics!!! They borth discuss groweing up. that`s 3. Also they both always thuibnk about society, they both discuss love a lot, they both discuss their lives etd....

  • @reviewreviewer1

    Nature: Anakin loves nature?

Naboo: He grew up with sand, "not like here.... here everything is soft and smooth." They both LIKE naboo doesn't mean they have similar interests. Any human would like Naboo.

Growing up: He was a slave. She was a queen. Couldn't be more different.

    Politics: they completely disagree about.

Love: Loophole in Jedi doctrine? Marginally interesting. Doesn't mean she loves him back. Not a similar interest.

Lives: Couldn't be more separate, really.

  • @shigurenovelist Yes Anakin loves the nature of Naboo, which not everyione has apreciation fioer, only sensitive people. No they related to tjhei recent growing up and struge with their mentors. which were similsr, tey were important but also marginalised. tjhey don`t disagree, that much, and they just love thinking abhout it. They bnoth like to discuss liove. lives, they both serr society, and try to help the wotrld, both deals with politics and assasinations.

  • @reviewreviewer1 Do you really thing any of this is grounds for Padme to love Anakin? Really in the large scheme, these reasons seem like grasping at straws. They're both attractive, they smile, the talk without yelling at each other.... so they're in love? Love doesn't really work that way.

Besides they DO disagree, when talking about politics Padme actually comes close to getting angry and Anakin has to tell a joke to relieve the tension so that it doesn't turn into a confrontation.

  • Wel guess what love kind of does work that way when people are happe around eachother and can easly talk together ad get along well, they can bond more and enjoy being togethe this is meccaserry for noprmal love, this i shown is smiling and talking. It`s not grasping at syraws Anakin and Padme tal a lot abourt there shared love for beaury and and also about their shared sense of respnsibility and there caring for the world, also they canjust b relaxed around eahother, ublike Han ad Lea!!

  • @reviewreviewer1 And then when she questions Anakin about younglings in the third movie her character does an 180 again! Before she had given up her forward-thinking mentality and simply trusted him. She goes back to having that moral ground, and sees Anakin for what he truly is.

Even though he's been that way for the entire time and she saw what he was and what he was capable of before!

This is a contradiction! Even people who love these prequels accept that fact, why can't you?

  • @shigurenovelist Uh because I think these is a big difference between forshadowing of terue evil, and lightly evil acts, and truely horriblre crimes. Supporting an enlightened dicatorship, is different from supporting a cruel supressive evil di9ctatoraship, and killing sandfpeop;le and killing humans is miles away from eachother. I`d react the samwea as Padme both times.

  • @reviewreviewer1

A dictatorship is destined to turn evil, as long as a human is at the forefront of it. Killers are often bound to kill again, if they don't feel consequence or guilt for it. Seeing seedlings of evil flourish and doing nothing about it is wrong, or foolish. Foreshadowing and seeing ahead to the future is a part of wisdom, which I thought Padme would have had a least a little of... maybe that's why I don't relate to her, huh?

  • @shigurenovelist Uh no why would a dictatorship tuern evil. the only differendce irt is the rule of 1, bnot 51 %. There have been many wise dictators!!!! Also uh again he wasn`t a killer, just a slaughterer. IA killed a frog when 4, sent me too jsail.

  • @reviewreviewer1 Give me an example of a true dictator with REAL power who has not done crimes against humanity, like imprison people for no reason, or murder, or start useless wars, much like Palpatine himself.

The main definition of "slaughter" is "killing animals for food". Anakin didn't eat the sand people, he killed for the sake of revenge. The other definition of slaughter is WORSE than murder, so I don't get the point you're making.

Did you continue to kill frogs after that?

  • @shigurenovelist HanHand Wendi, Han Jingdi, Philipuss II, Djer Den, Han Gaozu, Emperor Augustus, Alexdander I, Darius The Great, Xerxces I, ArtaXerxes III, Han Zhangdi, etc

Uh yeah well killing ani,als for revenge is cruel, but not the same a killing inocent humans. whether it is for fgood or not is les important then hoeintelegent it is. You don`t kill yiunglingd for food either. No I just stepped on it whe 4 and felt guilty. teah always kil ants cause I am alergtic and they get everywhere.

  • @reviewreviewer1 The chinese dictators you mention are not as well known about because another dictator, Mao, got rid of a lot of old literature and burned books during the revolution.

Alexander, Darius, Xerxces, and etc. all 1. Killed thousands of people in wars. 2. Made thousands of people slaves and POW. 3. Got rid of people who questioned them. Just because history glorifies them as great rulers doesn't mean they didn't kill, murder, rape, imprison or force people into slavery. Seriously.

  • @shigurenovelist enough is known of the Chines rulers check wikui. 2. yes they fouyght wars for good purposes, aND yes they killed people that rebelled, ythey just sterong meausures, but they weren`t quilty off things like rape. and slavbery was just normal at thw time. it wa also emforced by early American democratic presidents.

  • @reviewreviewer1 WIKI IS NOT AN AUTHORITY ON ANYTHING.

THERE IS NO "GOOD PURPOSE" FOR ENDLESS WARS.

HOW DO YOU KNOW THEY DIDN'T RAPE?

THE PRESIDENTS WERE JUST AS DAMN EVIL AS ANYONE ELSE.

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH.

HOW CAN PEOPLE BE THIS UNAWARE OF THE WORLD?!

  • @shigurenovelist Wiki does have trustworthy knowledge, and is a reliable source. There is no record of raope an it seems beloew thei r standards. Wars can be good, cause they create advanced and prosperous empires. Yes and tjhe presidents were democratiicly eleted.

  • @reviewreviewer1 You've obviously never been to school. Wiki may have SOME knowledge but anyone... ANYONE... can go in and change it. That's why you don't use Wiki for any academic work, and you really shouldn't trust it to make an argument pro-dictators.

There's no record of rape probably because women had no say back then and didn't learn how to write. Women were considered once sub-human, they were considered what you consider the sandpeople to be.

  • @reviewreviewer1 Prosperous empires are created on the backs of the silent burdened masses who have to suffer and die for it. What about Palpatine's advanced and prosperous empire? Palpatine was elected in a democracy. Aren't we meant to believe that Palpatine's quest for power was due to the fact that he was EVIL?

Star Wars is based on myths. It's a story that explains and expands upon good versus evil. About how power corrupts. The fact that you don't understand any of this makes me sad.

  • @reviewreviewer1

With more power comes more evil and Anakin expressed desire for more power. Amidala should've thought about it a little.

  • @shigurenovelist Uh with power comeas evil, uugh, no. Does that mean we huimans should always tay litlle, and aren`t allowed to to outgrow god?// does it mean we should stop advancing?????? he wanted the power to fix the things he hated, , is that wrong. Power is not bad when you want to use it for good goals. otherwuse, medicine presidents, strong sporters etc are all wrong. Power does not mean evil. not eeryone becomes corrupted, humands aremn`t that weak!!!!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! MY BRAIN IS COLLAPSING IN ON ITSELF!!!! GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRR!

  • @reviewreviewer1 YESSS THEEEEYYY ARE ITS WHY WE HAVE THIS THING CALLED MYTHS IT IS WHAT STAR WARS IS ALLL ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

  • @reviewreviewer1

D: Expressing desires to become powerful enough to prevent other people from dying (me).

E: If this was within weeks of re-meeting each other for the first time in 10 years (so I have no idea whether or not these fits of rage are frequent).

F: I was pretty much the only person he talked to about this (except for Palpatine for some reason).

And... apples and oranges! Part of the point of him killing "women and children" was that they would seem a little bit helpless.

  • @shigurenovelist Ofcourse he expresses desire the have tht power, I wisjh I had. Uh she knows it`s nit frequet, cause you know it was because his only family just got tortured to death. She new im as a kd, and disd see huim for a few weeks, and is close with him, so koews it is not frequent. She just rusts on that, and she was right!!! Yes he trells you a persoal; secret case he trus yyou and loves you. Yes they were a bit hrlpless, or atleast it was not in selfdefense abnd i was a skaughter.

  • @reviewreviewer1

Her character is what the plot needs her to be OR she is the most anti-feminst character in recent cinematic history. Or both. End of story.

  • @shigurenovelist No she just sees a different betwen intelegent monsters an humans!!!!!!

  • @reviewreviewer1 Give it up, already. For pete's sake. You've been making this "intelligent monsters" argument over and over and even though I've ripped it to shreds, you still cling to it. I guess I don't understand. You obviously relate to Amidala in the movies and I can't stop you from that, but that doesn't make your argument make any more sense than it did twelve comments ago.

  • @shigurenovelist Uh how did you rid my cdomment about the sandpeople to shreds?????? 1. the facrt they are intelegent does nit ake them human, they are an evil noncompesionae species. 2. the people things stands fior their physiology. 3. uh Owen who knows a lot about te samdpeople and was very nice said thhis. 4. Obi Wan in IV said they wouldrun fast but return in greater numbersd which is a discriptio of uinsdtinvctive behaviour. pl;ease explain how they are human???/

  • @reviewreviewer1 Because it doesn't matter whether or not they are human. The point of the scene is so Lucas can show us how Anakin has turned slowly toward the dark side. Instead of hiding this from Amidala (which was the logical choice) he chose to have her stay in the room, even though this lead to complications in character motivation and logic and emotion of the moment. This is because Lucas needed Anakin to rant and Amidala was the only other character present.

    Should have been Owen there

  • @shigurenovelist Yees it was a step to the darkside, their arw certainly levekl in evil and the darkside. Padme forgives level 2. not 35. or uh soryy I meant 36.

  • @shigurenovelist Like anyone else.

Owen makes more sense screenwriting wise, because in a New Hope, Owen has a lot of animosity toward Anakin when Luke brings him up.

  • @shigurenovelist No je is juist worried about Luke becoming evil like his father, and the anomisity was towards him now being vader.
