I grew up in Georgia, and it would rain heavy like this every year often during the months of May-Sept. , I loved the rain so much that I would go out in my backyard at night during a hard rain like this and lay down in my swing covered with my poncho and go to sleep.Last year I moved to the mountains west of Denver and it almost never rains heavy.Snow falls like crazy though. I do love the sound of a heavy rain, its like a natural sedative.
