  • I want to thank you for the information, there is a wire lose thats connected to the money reciever.could that be the problem.there also a grey cover that is connected to the the wheel that turns when it picks the record, when i turn it manually then it picks up a record could there be something wrong with that

  • @eastbaycandia Mite be. When you go make a selection the keys should send a single to the memory control that makes a hot point in the gray box called "Encoder" That should be moving at the same time as the carousel is rotation to select the record. If the wheel is not moving with the carousel (which sounds like it's not), then that's the problem.

  • i have one just like this it won't load the selection I in put in it just spins and does not pick out any record can anyone please call me let me know what needs to be done. i am trying to sell it any buyers make me an offer. 209-681-4652 my name is frank

  • @eastbaycandia It could be two things wrong. One The memory unit is dead (or haves a broken wire). Two The Encoder is bad or the wipers may not be contacting right. Hope this helps.

  • Hi I have a rowe jukebox just like the one in your video but it needs a needle, can you tell me where to buy one.

    Thanks, Joechilly4@yahoo.com

  • @99xzavier

You can find lot's on ebay, but if you still have a M44 Cartridge (that would say "Rowe" and not "Shure") then i would sagest to replace it with a shures SC35C Cartridge. Because the new needles for the M44 model are now 1.5-2 grams and not 4-5 grams like the old ones. I tried 2 needle's and the needle just bends down badly because of the wight of the tone arm.

  • P.S. To:ishredu Jukeboxes ARE vending machines, LOL

  • whats the seccond song?

  • Hey where'd you get country singles on records like that?

  • The Country records came with the jukebox when i got it. There are some places were you can find records like what was in this jukebox. Look on ebay or musicstack and you will find alot of country records.

  • Just found out that while Seeburg and Rockola started 3-digit selections in 1971 (your 447 is Rockola's first with them), AMI-Rowe only adopted them in 1977 as they made their first computer-driven jukebox. Now I know I'll still be enthusiastic if the jukebox I get ends up being a Rowe, as it has 100 slots, compared to Rockola's 80, loaded in the same way.

  • what worries me it's the record that "slams" on the turntable

  • I know, I try to find a way to slow it down but i don't see any way to slow it down. The Gripper runs on a slot the is held by a spering downward. When it get's hafe way down or up it is vary sloppy.

  • I wonder why Rowe/AMI decided to make lefty tonearms... Funny how I noticed one of my videos contains "i h8 my AMI" in its URL!

  • That version of Hot Rod Lincoln, who sings it?

  • Jim Varney Sings this song. It's from the Bevilly Hillbilly Movie that was done in the 90's.

  • Now this is how I like to see records in a jukebox! Guess I'm really not a fan of the ones where the record is standing straight.

  • My copy is also playing the same way

Wurlitzer used to say " Play in the professional way FLAT ON THE TURNTABLE" but all seeburgs have the records standing up and they were the must reliable systems ever.

  • Yeah, I like those too, mainly because you can see the whole record spin.

  • Sounds great nice "box"

  • looks like a vending machine

  • That is a ROwe Woodhue

  • Just to let you know, it's actually Rowe, not Rome.
