Tachometers read spark pulses... 6 bangers pulses = 1.5 times 4 banger pulses over time... V6 Accords shift at 6K... this car appears to be shifting at 9K... 9/6 = 1.5

hahaha! I know this joke. A friend of mine took from an old Ford Taunus the 4-cylinder-engine out to replace it for a 6-cylinder. The RPM-meter counts the sparks from the spark-plugs. He forgot to adapt this so the RPM-meter was indicating 2/3 to much. Indicating 9000 RPM was in reality 6000 RPM. By the way: the engine in this video does not sound if its making 9000 RPM. (it is 6000)
