  • hi when i try to locate newtorks this comes up: airodump-ng eth1

ioctl(SIOCSIFFLAGS) failed: Operation not possible due to RF-kill

  • hey on thet line where it says

BSSID STATION PWR RATE LOST PACKETS PROBES

i don't get anything.... but everything else match yours, with other bssid and such.. :S why ?

  • @xamber321 sounds like you don't have any wireless networks in range, or your not correctly setting your wireless card in monitor mode.

  • btw. kalexander777. you say i takea long time to get 40k ivs. have you tried packet injection? like when wepcracking? get auth then aireplay-ng -3 -b targetmac -h yourmac mon0 or (--ignore-negative-one mon0 hit enter and the packets should be at 40 k in 5 mins og less.

  • @solyngen883 Yes, I've tried it, but unfortunately I'm running this on an older VAIO and the network card i'm using doesn't support Packet Injection.

  • I know this is a noob question, but how do I find the name of my wireless card?

  • @jpking2012 sudo ifconfig.

btw this is wpa/wpa2 cracking. here you need handshaking with ap, saving the handshaking file, and then crack the file with a huge dictionary/wlist.

  • @jpking2012 login as root and type 'iwconfig' then it will show all the wireless devices your computer has. Mine for example says "eth1 IEEE 802.11bg ESSID:"NET", so I use eth1 as the network card command (e.g. airmon-ng start eth1

    HOPE THIS HELPS!
