  • Could we please get informed about the manufacturer of this machine, we just want to know the brand, or is it a home made grinder?

  • @deexxxdee

Hi, the machine is available from harbor freight. We make changes and resell to hoof trimmers and to anyone else interested. it normally comes with a 5 inch sanding disc. we change it out for an arbor and buffing wheel. not easy to do.

  • @TheHoofguy Thanks alot for your quick answer, i checked the shop already today, found many useful things, but most of the electric stuff isnt really usable for me, cause i live in germany and here the power is 230v ac.

next problem is to find someone who can ship it to my country.

but i'll use this as an example to make my own grinder, may it takes a little more time and money, but just the result will count^^

  • Hi , Using a belt sharpener overheats the blade edge and as a result softens the cutting edge , which means you loose edge life, no matter how careful you are!

  • ditto.... what kind of belt sander is that?

  • @rotoclip hey richard, I do plan to do a video of mike and I trimming as soon as it gets warmer! I got to stay home today and play in the shop. The farmer cancelled because of frozen free stall alleys. it was minus 22 this morning!
