Every time I see my Instinct I get pissed. Don't know what's going on in this video, but it takes me up to 10 mins to load my music, and then another minute every time i load an artist or album. The GPS is always wrong. ALWAYS.
Samsung: The screen is pretty good. The sound quality is decent, but Apple > Samsung in sound quality. The camera is pretty good. The aps are dreadful and expensive. Call quality is the worst I've ever had.

I have a Treo & a friend at work who has an i-phone on the same network. What I find interesting is how little he actually goes online compared to me. Its true I dont have Wi-Fi but I go online all the time with Opera mini which uses data compression. He on the other hand obviously wants to & is always looking for Wi-fi access points (which he rarely finds). Im not trying to say the Palm OS is all out better but combined with the rite software it has some real advantages.

In my opinion, the only phones that can compete with the iPhone are the BlackBerry Storm, the Palm Pre, and the Google Android phones. Know why? Because they are actually SMART PHONES not consumer phones. Theres a big diffrence. And also by now, alot of these things they had against the iPhone aren't true anymore. The reason people buy an "IPHONE" is because it's an "IPHONE". If would look at the facts they would know the INSTINCT outperforms the IPHONE in many areas. Yes, the INSTINCT does have things that need to be reworked but all in all the IPHONE should be far more advanced for the amount of time it's been out. The INSTINCT I feel needs better marketing and it will kill the IPHONE! Again, I PHONE might have the name, but if you care about performance and not a name you will get the INSTINCT!!!

In my opinion, the only phones that can compete with the iPhone are the BlackBerry Storm, the Palm Pre, and the Google Android phones. Know why? Because they are actually SMART PHONES not consumer phones. Theres a big diffrence. And also by now, alot of these things they had against the iPhone aren't true anymore. I'm not saying the Instinct is a bad phone, its just in a different market than the iPhone. It's not an "iPhone killer" just because it has a touch screen.

my point is, that this was an add that only focuses on a few aspects and is not a fair comparison which makes a decent advertisement if they are trying to get people to get the instinct rather than the iPhone. The Instinct is also a knockoff, and it CAN'T do everything the iPhone can. Well it all depends on your POV, you can have an instinct if you want. But I love my iPhone 3g.
