Our hope is in God because we trust Him, not because He will give us what we want when we want it. Our Hope is in the fact of Him being there for us no matter what happens. Love this video, I was hoping the video ended the way it did. Circumstances do not change God. It really comes down free will or trust in the Great I am. When my sister was killed on the way to save lives as a nurse leaving behind a husband and two small children; all I could do was say All is well..in my soul. As big as God is I know he is speaking to me through this video.

This video is great because many people think that believing will solve all of their problems, but that is not always true. God heals in mysterious ways that may not been apparent to everyone which is shown by this. <3 Praise God!

If you don't know why he made this song I remember something like that his son was sick with a disease that they told him that there is no cure for it. Thats why i think he wrote this song because after he prayed and had hope in God that his son would get better, his son later on had no longer the disease. This shows that hope in God and Faith can cure anything if it's God's desire. God probaly made that happen because him and his family probaly got closer to God. Glory to God o'high. Amen

I love that the video doesn't have a happy ending. Yes, it is very sad, but it shows that Life is difficult no matter who you are, and that life doesn't always have fairy tale endings. Wow this video really brought back memories of my family and I in the hospital--waiting as my mother was in a coma due to a motorcycle accident. Just like this video--my mother didn't make it. She was on life support and she didn't want to depend on a machine. As hard as it was for us to let go--we had to take her off. This video & song hit home for me--to always trust and hope in God in good & bad circumstances because regardless He is in control.

I just watched my mother drown in her own blood as 5 yrs of cancer broke down her body. But I'll be the first to say that God is good, and better than good. He is holy. I prayed with my mother for years for physical healing, we didn't get the physical healing. 2 others that my mother and I prayer for did have miraculous healing. I'll see her next when we worship together in the presence of God for eternity. I still think God's endings are best. Praise his Holy Name.

To show that God is with us through good times and hard times. It's usually when the hard times show up that we cling to Christ and begin to question him, but we must have faith in Him always. Seek comfort in that your sister's soul is free from the chains of hurt and into the arms of the lord our savior. Your sister is probably sorry for you because now she gets to fly and do flips and maybe even some dragonball z stuff. I know that's what I'll be doing!

Love this song and love Aaron (as a brother in Christ :-) However, you have to turn off the ads. Saw very inappropriate immodest ad at the start and had to kick the kids away from the computer and fumble for the mute button.....

@brierbas Not much to say except there was a commercial with a naked women just before the video started. I know this is youtube and the commercials can not be controlled. But I guess I did not like showing my children a Christian video and have that show up before the video started. So adding the comment was my initial reaction. for what it is worth....

First thing: This music video has a very contrasting overtone; uplifting song, sad video. People may not like that.
Second: Why do people not have the freedom to listen to what they want? And why must you feel compelled to control it? I can't stand half of the music that I hear fellow Christians listen to, but I support it because it does bring people closer to Christ. That doesn't mean I enjoy listening to it.

@zubop012991 I don't care what you listen to. Why would you even listen to a genre of music you don't even like in the first place.If you don't like the song, dont listen to. Plain and simple. And this song is about having faith in the Lord no matter what the circumstance is. Why does it HAVE to be a sad song just because the video isn't happy. Not everything ends happily ever after, and that is why you have to trust that God has a plan for whatever may happen.

I just watched my mother drown in her own blood as 5 yrs of cancer broke down her body. But I'll be the first to say that God is good, and better than good. He is holy. I prayed with my mother for years for physical healing, we didn't get the physical healing. 2 others that my mother and I prayer for did have miraculous healing. I'll see her next when we worship together in the presence of God for eternity. I still think God's endings are best. Praise his Holy Name.

Thank you for your heartfelt love for God, Aaron Shust! We saw you perform this song in Jamestown, ND Saturday evening. Seeing you play and sing this up close was awesome. This video takes us back 2 years ago to when we stood before our son's lifeless body in the hospital. God took him home. My Hope is in You - this is what we daily live by. We wait for our time. To show that God is with us through good times and hard times. It's usually when the hard times show up that we cling to Christ and begin to question him, but we must have faith in Him always. Seek comfort in that your sister's soul is free from the chains of hurt and into the arms of the lord our savior. Your sister is probably sorry for you because now she gets to fly and do flips and maybe even some dragonball z stuff. I know that's what I'll be doing!
