  • Where do you film this? It looks like such a wonderful and magical place :P.

Thumbs up all medieval time lovers

  • Sounds like Bathory. I adore it.

  • 2:20 - Dulcimer shredding!!!

  • Beautiful.I thought about learning to play it, but the teavher knew nothing about it.

  • I find this music refreshing!!!!! I love it, but I wonder what that light is that is seems to dance around you at about 2:09.

  • no i zmieklem(:

  • Very nice music with this strange instrument, but I like it that sound, from Mexico.

  • Now Bring e A Tankard Of Your Finest Ale ;)

  • Where on earth was this filmed? It is beautiful!

  • @OHWISEONE1996 It twas' was filmed in the forest of No despair...... well, twas an educated guess.

  • The ending makes me smile - just need a steel pan drum and it could be totally tropical sounding!

  • Your videos are so beautiful! The music is so lovely and your dresses are absolutely gorgeous. Absolutely stunning.

  • YO! Your music is BEAUTIFUL! Haven't heard anything like it in my 20 years on this rock and I can't get enough!!!!!

  • let us gather are horses and ride thru

    from sun to moon

to be love by all but you

  • Dizzi you have a very special talent. Amazing.

  • @PaterFrog Personal taste aside, after reading all of your comments, you're just a dick. Fluffytom82 has no knowledge of mideval instruments or garb to make the erroneous, uneducated comments that he made. I imagine if you posted a Sackbut video(late-mideval/baroque trombone), he'd call you a child out of ignorance. Forgive the harsh manner of my response, but opinions are opnions afterall, so I respect your opinion on the matter Pater, just as my first comment was also an opnion.

  • When I hear this instrument I always picture a flowing river or stream as it has that kinda quality as the notes "flows" over the listener.

  • Beautiful music. I'll ask my wife to get me your cd for my upcoming birthday.

  • 3 people have no clue what true, beautiful, music is when they hear it.

  • fantastic!

  • VERY NICE : )

IF YOU SAY I AM JUST A GALLOPIN G HORSE TO THIS RIFF ITS FUN !

    HA.

I am just a galloping horse. ! he he ha he : )

lovely playing, how skilled. what a lovely instrument.

  • VERY NICE : )

  • You have a great technique on the dulcimer, and the music is beautiful, but why telling people it's medieval? These are great tunes, but why not call it ambient music? Or folk music? Music isn't medieval because you put on a pink dress from a carnival store.

As youtube poster you also have some sort of educational function. I'd hate to see people think medieval music sounds like this... Be yourself! And let people love YOUR music!

  • @fluffytom82 Oh for gods sake shut the fuck up you nitpicking goose!

  • @maccermacnab Thanks for the insults, really appreciate it :) How old are you? 5?

  • @fluffytom82 it's a medieval style dulcimer...and she dresses for the part. (very well) :)

  • Personally, I think the fading in and out of the music as the camera microphone moves around enhances the flavor and appeal of the video recording...you don't need to change a thing!

  • G'day, Dizzi ... your music, costumes, and smile are most delightful. Greetings to you from Big Hugh of Mundlimup in wonderful Western Australia.

  • Beautiful dress, btw :D

  • It's common sense that you don't move the microphon during takes. -.-

The music is great, but that's a thumbs down for the fail of properly recording the whole thing.

  • @PaterFrog this is a youtube video not a professional video. The microphone is on the camera so unless you want a static video with no movement the microphone is going to move.

Your welcome to offer to film my videos for me to a professional standard that would be a real help.

  • @dizzid11 I don't have any professional equipment.

What I meant to imply, use a real microphone for the sound and add the video on top of it. Synchronizing both might be a bit of a pain, but here's a little trick: Hit the wood of the instrument or something to create a mark a couple of seconds before the real thing starts, then cut in the soundtrack so that the sound and the video fit at the mark, afterwards cut the whole mark away and there you go. Your choice, quality or laziness? :D

  • @dizzid11 WELL SAID TO THE COURT JESTER

  • @dizzid11 I think the camera/mic moving around give the song a cool day-dreamy effect.

  • @PaterFrog i kinda like the way the audio shifts around as the camera moves while watchin this with a headset on..

  • @Lynium Hadn't tried that, but now that I have, I still find myself not agreeing with it. Personal taste I guess. :D

  • Both the music and your costume are breathtaking

  • beautifully and from what i can tell, technically brilliant... love the dramaturgy.

  • I love your music! I was wondering if you would possibly be interested in further promoting your music. I am currently creating a game and would love to have your music in it. Unfortunately I am just begining so I cannot provide any instruments, but you will get a fair share of the profit me and my team get from selling this game. If you are interested please let me know.

    Amazing, chica!

  • this ones my new favourite, beautiful!

  • I'm stunned, amazed, and I love it!

  • these songs are brilliant!... I loooove the sound of your dulcimer :)

  • the problem with her songs is that they have no identity. all of her songs sound pretty much the same.

  • You haven't looked at all my video's then!

Check out "Dizzi Electric Dulcimer" or "Cosmic Sister Duo"

A Dulcimer only has certain keys so you can only really play certain styles. When played acoustically Its very hard to make it sound any different!

  • @dizzid11 Dizzi....your Music ist fantastic...i love it to listening for relex....make so on !!!!!!

  • @dizzid11 , how much are the dulcimers, I might be interested in playing it and learning

  • I hope you know: you're awesome :)

Was it not the dragon breathing its fiery breath upon the land.

  • Haha, nice. That is a beautiful garden though

  • roflofl.

  • Hi Dizzi,

You might want to check out the Chinese yang qin 扬琴, which seems to be quite similar to your instrument. There's also a really nice classical music piece that's also called horse galloping in Chinese: 赛马.

    Greetz from China!

  • Mesmerizing tune! I enjoyed hearing every single note!
