What is the difference between the Original, Short, and Long programme? I do not understand. WHY?

It is too bad she drew so early to skate. This performance would have been littered with 5.9s skating after all her main rivals, especialy with Ito having faltered. Bezic is an annoying commentator though.

I think it came out right, both in the short and the long. Kristi was more artistic, although I think this is one of Tonya's better choreographed programs. As for Bezic, she is not the best commentator, but she's a brilliant choreographer.

The short program is more about technical elements than artistry though. Both are important but the 1st mark is the tiebreaker. I dont think the artistry difference was as big in the short as the long between the two, and Tonya's elements were better. If the draw order were reversed atleast it is unlikely Kristi's element marks would have been higher as they were here. If you look at Kristi's score the element scores were further ahead for her than the presentation, LOL!

Wow, I guess you're right. I didn't realize they marked Kristi ahead on the elements. I still miss the 6-point system even though it left room for favoritism. It was more comprehensible to the audience than today, looking at one big number on the screen.
