They got the penalty and were setting up for the untimed down and Miller says, "Culpepper's coming into the game." I thought Schwarz had lost his friggin' mind. I'm going nuts and I was so relieved to hear Stafford come back, at least for a little bit. I think this one will continue to be remembered by Lions fans for a long time despite coming amidst a 2-14 season.
Probably just feeding the trolls here, but Cutler tried to get back in that game, his coaches wouldn't let him. His knee was shaking like crazy in the huddle and they wouldn't let him finish.
Doesn't hold a candle to Stafford though, that kid has balls of steel.

Our defensive line is amazing, running backs are good (when best doesn't have turf toe, eagles game), Wide receivers are great, tight ends are great, quarterbacks are outstanding, linebackers are okay, alfonso smith can cover most of the time, so hes okay, but chris houston isn't that great, delmas and spievey are pretty good, we are extremely weak on two spots on defense, Cornerback, and right outside linebacker. On offense we need a left tackle, right guard, and center.
Get the surgery Matt, hit the weights and bulk up come back next season and join the rest of the stellar young qb's, don't let the injury bug ruin this one, kid is talented.
Love this video of Stafford. As someone who has suffered shoulder injuries his whole life, until you know what it feels like and the gut wrenching and knee buckling pain that it puts you through, to see him stand up and force himself back in the game where he couldn't move his arm, just brings a tear to my eye. @deafro1001 Hye man, anything can happen. That's what makes football so great. You never know who will rise up. Take the Saints (the other I grew up loving all my life) for example. In 08 they went 8 - 8 to Super Bowl champs. Hell of a turnaround and I enjoyed every minute of it. Trust me, the Lions will get their ring someday. If they went to the Super Bowl, I'd root for them.
This is why I dumped Drew Brees and drafted Matt Stafford. The Lions are going to put the ball in the endzone a ton this season, and it starts with Stafford!

lemmee tell you. this kids really special. its going to be really sad if he cant stay healthy, and then getrs labeled as a bust. i feel this kid can lead the lions to where they have never been before. its gonna be really sad if he is plagued by injuries

Man, it's like something straight out of a movie! I'm a Cowboys fan, but I have alot of respect for the Lions. You guys have someone very special playing the QB position. I really, honestly feel like the Lions will be really good in a year or two. Something just tells me that.

@deafro1001 Hye man, anything can happen. That's what makes football so great. You never know who will rise up. Take the Saints (the other I grew up loving all my life) for example. In 08 they went 8 - 8 to Super Bowl champs. Hell of a turnaround and I enjoyed every minute of it. Trust me, the Lions will get their ring someday. If they went to the Super Bowl, I'd root for them.

This is why I dumped Drew Brees and drafted Matt Stafford. The Lions are going to put the ball in the endzone a ton this season, and it starts with Stafford!
