A friend of mine gave me Stoneage Romeos while i was stationed on the DMZ in Korea. A year later, on heavy doses of acid, i was listening to this album at Ft. Hood, Texas. It saved my life, because the army fucking sucked! God bless the Gurus!
HEY everyone who likes old school aussie rock, click on the channel link and listen to 'just say it 2.0. Thanks.
Obviouly they enjoyed wearing the costumes but, what I LOVE is how wack and terrible their street clothes are! Check tht camel colored suit. It's totally great when people are utterly fashion-impared. Sort of inspires a kind of affection.

@prussell66 I love that album. My parents bought it the year I was born because the Kamicazi Pilot song was featured in a surfing video they liked. I have been hearing it all my life.
I don"t know what happened... but these guys should have been on top for years!!! I saw them several times while growing up, including a time in Montreal at club soda when the Bangles opened up for them.!!!! We all know the bangles, but do we know hoodo gurus???? I sure as hell do... I love them !
the hoodoo gurus bring me flashbacks of watching surf videos with my friends while smoking joints during high school...*tear*, why did i have to grow up?
Do you believe it's been 20+ yrs. since we finished at Seton? Wow, how time flies.... We are well overdue for a school reunion, so lets just make it happen…... Let's try to get as many as we can from our years

@spadge321 what is your rabid point DA. Are you pissed that the Rollers are gone? Or does fun conflict with your cutting edge appreciation of such trend setters as the Fall and jd?
Great song, it reminds me of a time now long gone, of myself and my girlfriend Siobhan dancing around the sun room in our house to that so catchy chorus, nostalgia's a strange thing, and a lovely thing
