I've watched your videos to help me start playing craps. I started several weeks ago, and have been hooked ever since. And using your strategy and honing it to suit my comfort level I've been able to pull small profits each trip so far. Thanks for posting!
@Redleader52 Sweet!! Now go and put some of that hard earned dough to good use and purchase my DVD set to learn how to make a bundle instead of just a small profit. A $50 investment in my production is nothing compared to how much one can loose without a good betting strategy and knowledge of the game to work with. I show WAY more stuff in my DVD than what is here on YouTube. Let me know if you have any questions. I'm happy to answer. Good luck to you!!!
@Burner55 I think people should take odds with winnings from the house so when they loose, they aren't loosing the money they came to play with at the casino. There are many ways to play this game and the Casino has everybody sold on taking odds as soon as they hit the table-with the money from your pocket. I was told I would be fired for teaching what I do here on YouTube because the house can only win their money back when the dice hand 7's out. They don't want you to learn from me.
@awadbab When that black puck is "OFF" that means the placed numbers are off also and not in action. There was no payoff due to the player in either of the places you mentioned. You might not understand the way the game plays just yet. Watch my videos over and over so you understand why things get paid and why they don't. Good luck to you and thanks for watching and learning!!!!
@LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS i played at an online casino and they took my placed bet away even tough the puck was off (im sure it wasn't a "buy" bet). Is it the program that is wrong?
@Freezypeak I have said it before and will continue to preach good information. There aren't any good craps simulators out there. Cyberspace is NO place to put your hard earned money as there is no gaming commission to oversee the house and ensure a fair and proper course of play. Never gamble on line!!! Place bets NEVER loose coming out with a winner 7 on the passline. The place bets are OFF coming out just like the Odds behind the line and the Odds for come bets. Good luck 2 U!
this was a great tutorial because i learned something extra (that the passline is the same as the point) saved me some money placing money on the point (lol). ive been learning how to play craps for about a month before i actually hit the table. i rolled about 15 times straight (myth: being a "female 1st time roller - a virgin" supposedly is good luck) the players were happy - i made 160 extra (min $10 table). i do notice that i hit roll alot of field bets! THANKS for your vids !
@SLOTPLAYA Glad you are learning with me. Thanks for watching and be sure to purchase a DVD to get the whole story and learn much, much more about the game. Good luck and thanks for visiting my channel, too!!
@187dAFeD This isn't a "system". Systems are made by people who want someone elses money and lie to those that want to be lied to. No bullshit here.....just the game from the bottom up. I think you just wanted to see Odds money behind the line. Good luck to you, no matter what your game or how you like to play.
@LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS I apologize for my tone I was in a bad mood when I wrote what I wrote...times are hard and craps is the only thing that has kept me sane. I normally don't really comment unless its about dice setting. I don't know why I even commented. I guess to be mean. I'm sorry though. It is a good system to start out with.
@187dAFeD No worries. Craps is the best game in the World for sure. It keeps me sane as well. Hard times are what made me make my YouTube channel and DVDs for sale as I lost my house in the recent foreclosure shit show. It is the only passion I have that I can share and make money from. Good luck and thanks for commenting on my videos!!
@LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS well, you are a very nice guy. You are just trying to let people know how to play the game. And then I comment and belong to the rest of the weird ass people that comment. I never conform. I don't know what got into me. Politics are making me mad but that is a different story.
@LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS I think there might be something to it. At first the dealers were like a broken record when I was throwing like a normal person. Always a point then the devil. After I learned about dice influence I was rolling five times before rolling the seven hitting the point in between hands making money. I guess it could have been luck. First time I ever threw two sevens in a roll on the come out roll I about shit a brick.
I really like playing 5 dollar min at craps but since I live in NJ and most of AC casinos have 10 dollar min bets. Only a select few have 5 dollar min bets in which i have encountered. Can you make some vids on playing a 10 dollar table?
Just started the game and LOVE IT. Your videos taught me to play. Question for you; is it common or uncommon to place BIG bets on numbers for one or two rolls and then pull them. Example; I see that 7 has been rolled 3 times in a row and get a hunch that I've got a roll, maybe two, before I see it again. I put a lot of money on 4-9 (a gamble naturally) through once and then scale those bets back to try to keep it safe. Is that uncommon/ will it drive the table guy crazy?
@BrysonJohn My player had all but 5 dollars out of the scenario for his bankroll's sake and 62 dollars in action with some healthy bets. All houses money. The casino can only win 5 of his dollars and get their own money back. They hate it when players play this way because it is a grind and it takes a long time to get your bankroll from you. One good hand will make up for every bad hand you ever had with a proper progression. I only need one good shooter to make up for all the bad ones.
rather than pressing the pass line, why wouldn't you place odds on the pass line? After hitting 4 points, your player would've had profit instead of loss. Seems kinda silly to me to press a bet with a worse pay out. Set the point with table minimum, place your odds, hit the point, and win more than a straight pass line bet. Also I don't like having a pressed pass line when you can have a shooter crap out on the come out roll and you lose the entire bet rather than table minimum. Just my $.02
@talkaboutblue I think players should take odds with winnings from the house so when they loose, they aren't loosing the money they came to play with at the casino. There are many ways to play this game and the Casino has everybody sold on taking odds as soon as they hit the table...with the money from your pocket. @LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS I understand the concept of using "house money" to play, and practice it myself, but doubling your pass line bet before the come out rule is foolish. In your video, you double your pass line bet, and then immediately crap out. If you had kept betting table minimum in planning of placing odds, you would have kept an extra $5. You then make the point, which if you bet odds instead of doubling, you again make more money for the player to put back into their bankroll.
@talkaboutblue Players have a 2to1 advantage winner over looser on the come out roll. I get to take advantage of multiple wins on the passline coming out. I'm hoping the odds play out and that 7or11 shows up before making a point. If you watch the #4 video, the result would cost you more money putting odds behind the line. I'm not saying "don't take odds", just win a bit from the house so when you loose, it isn't your bankroll in the toilet, just them wining their own money back for that hand.
@LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS It is way easy to Monday morning quarterback the results shown here. I can show you tons of results where playing the Odds will cost you. That isn't the real point, though. Play any way you wish. Good luck and thanks for watching and commenting!
@stuntsrfun Thanks for the comment!! I hope you win a bundle if you choose to play. Ask questions if you have them. Buy a DVD set to get a full understanding of the game.
@halfcajun2 There is a lot of $ on the layout that didin't come from the players bankroll. Some people put the money they win back in their bankroll. My player put it in action & when he lost, he was only loosing $5 of his money. The rest was houses money bet back at them. The casino can only win $5 in this scenario and get their own money back. They hate it when people play this way. It is a grind and takes a long time to get your money from you. The casinos don't want people to play this way.
@EchoLenix Yes.......Top Hat Clay from Paulsons. They are nice to work with. I have tens of thousands of them. One used to be able to go to their Vegas facility and purchase canceled cheques off the shelves. No longer, though. Good eye and good luck to you!!
@ProjectNinjaSlime Not sure how to respond other than NO......I'm not. I do, however, play music a lot. I'm a saxophonist for the last 30 years and play in several performing organizations in Utah, Colorado, Virginia and Nevada. Thanks for your post and good luck to you. Please ask more questions if you have them. Peace!!!!!!
@newtybar I think players should take odds with winnings from the house so when they loose, they aren't loosing the money they came to play with at the casino. There are many ways to play this game and the Casino has everybody sold on taking odds as soon as they hit the table.....with the money from your pocket. So if the puck is on a 2,3,or 12 won't hurt you but a 7 will? And if the puck is off a 7 doesn't end the round and a 2,3 or 12 will loose you the pass line?
@santhony74 Yes......if the puck is "ON", 2,3 or 12 won't hurt you. You are in the middle of a hand and a 7 will wipe you and everybody else out. If that puck is "OFF", ......2,3 and 12 are bad for the passline and 7 and 11 are winners. Thanks for asking questions and good luck to you!! Buy a DVD set to get the whole story and see hours of live action. Easy to watch and learn from!!!
@xRyansextonx Some people take the money when they win and put it in the rail in front of them. I spread out my coverage and bet the houses money back at them. One good hand will make up for all the bad hands you ever had with a proper progressive betting strategy.
I see the strategy you are describing but I feel like the field bet is questionable for many scenarios. Although it helps give you more numbers, it wipes out any winnings you might get for the middle numbers by losing the money on the feild. So you are basically shooting for low odds numbers.
@nickweber22 You are totally correct. The Field bet is a bad bet for sure. Only 16 dice combos to win and 20 to loose. That's 5 to 4 odds against you making the numbers and they only pay even money on most of those numbers........2 & 12 usually pay double or even tripple to get you to put money out there. I only use it in the beginning of my strategy because we can cover a lot of numbers with only $5 up front. I stop betting the Field once I've won there and bet up on the numbers. Cont....
@nickweber22 If I loose in the field I press the 5,6, or 8 and replace the field bet. If I loose again in the field, i have won enough off of the other numbers to pretty much cover the other numbers on the board. The field is totally out at this point until the next hand and I start over with the same strategy.........I'm looking for a long hand that will help me retire early. The longer the better. Get your money out and bet houses money back against them. Take advantage of a long run!!!
@goyalrasik Nice little score!! Congrats on your win. Now you have enough to buy my DVD set!!!! Yay!! I hope you tipped your dealers at least a couple bucks. Good luck to you and be sure to let us know how you do in the future.
Another question, sorry! If you're starting out at a table, and the point is made as a 6 or 8, where would you recommend betting? Whichever wasn't made point out of the two, the field, and either a 5 or 9? And if you lose on the field bet and don't win on a place bet when starting out, do you make another field bet or just wait and hope one of your 2 initial place bets hits and start covering numbers if/when that happens? Thank you so much for your help, these videos are awesome!
@bwl5037 Thanks for the questions. I get my money out, place all the numbers with houses money and then press, or double my bets, every other time they hit. I get paid and use progression to increase my bets. Press every other time on the inside numbers and every time on the 4 & 10. In between points is still the same hand. You only start a new hand when a 7 wipes you out and then you start all over with table minimum bets with my strategy. Buy a DVD set and see hours of action on this.
So when do you start pulling money from your bets to your bankroll? It seems like once you get that initial bet back you just keep pushing everything you win back onto the table. Is there a point where you say, "Ok, now I want to stop upping my bets and take everything I win into my bankroll."? Also, between hands, do you always clear all of your bets and start as if you just walked up to the table, or leave coverage from the last hand? Would that coverage be the minimum? Thanks!
@suns32 You can play up to the table maximum on the numbers if you wish. I just say start small and take advantage of a long roll of the dice. On a $5 game that's 5 bucks on each number except for 6 & 8 which take 6 bucks. Thanks for your question and Good Luck to YOU!!!
Never mind.....I understand now. I had to watch that part at 9:18 that I asked about a few more times to understand it. I had to watch that part at 9:18 and on to understand it more. I got it now...thanks. Good explanations on this video.
@oceansdoor Thanks for asking questions. It's the only way to learn the stuff you don't fully understand. Please read the other comments, too, as they will fill you in on other things you may not have thought about. When you go and play for real, the dealers will tell you to put money behind the pass line for Odds action. Be ready for that and understand there are many ways to play this great game. Good luck to you and don't hesitate to ask more questions. Buy my DVDs to get it all!!
Hi - I'm confused at 9:18 and on. There was a chip on the 10 and the shooter rolled a 10, considering that the 10 was good odds, and I realize that a point hadn't been made until the shooter rolled the 10 for the 10 point. But, the dealer didn't pay the shooter for the 10 point and instead the dealer moved the players chip to the place bet of 8.
I'm confused on why the player didn't get his good odds on the 10, when he had his chips on the 10? Does that make sense what I'm saying? Thanks
A particular online craps game I play pays my passline bet, but I loose all place bet investments if I roll 7 on the comeout. If I roll 11 an on the comeout, my passline bet gets paid, but I get to keep money invested on place bets. How many different variations are there to come out rules?
@rssllt7 There aren't any variations on the come out rules. Your computer program has it all wrong. There aren't any good craps games in cyberspace. Please don't play for real money on your computer.......they are stealing from you. There is no gaming commission in cyberspace to ensure you are getting a fair game. One can't even practice without getting a bad course of play.
oh man.....this vid excites me! I'm about ready to jump in my truck and burn out of the driveway to the Indian casino just with these simple pointers and rules to get the game rolling in my favor!! YEAH!! I'm out of here to test this system! Thank you!!!
dont add back to the pass line ..........put on the odds in the back of the pass line.............why give the casino any edge........ i should know...i ve been doing it for 20 years......i see mistakes you made.......... you that strategy you will lose in the end
When setting dice in craps, check out Craps Tracker Pro on the iPhone. You can have a buddy monitor your game a few steps away wirelessly using voice chat over Bluetooth. Just put your iPhone in your front pocket and have your buddy listen in, record, and analyze your throws. Now you know if you're effecting the odds.
When I go to one of the local casinos around my area, I usually play $10 craps (sometimes $15). I play the passline with odds and place the 6 and 8. Would you recommend place betting all the numbers on a $5 table?
@buck03dawg I recomend putting houses money on all the numbers no matter how you get there. Try to play with winnings from the house and take advantage of a long hand by being on the game and betting houses money back at them. Good luck to you!!
I remember watching this video when I was first learning to play, but now that I'm a dealer, taking another look I realized something. Especially for a $5 table, why play $35 on the pass line and no odds?? Always teach players to go LOW on pass line and MORE on odds, same bet pays more money.
@breiningac I think players should take odds with winnings from the house so when they loose, they aren't loosing the money they came to play with at the casino. There are many ways to play this game and the Casino has everybody sold on taking odds as soon as they hit the table.....with the money from your pocket. I was told I would be fired for teaching what I do here on YouTube because the house can only win their money back when the dice hand 7's out. I hope your players tip you well
I have been trying to learn Craps for 5 years.....45 minutes watching your youtube videos got me into the game....I bought your videos instantly Kudos buddy!!
I really like the system you used in this video. I used your strategy for starting up, broke even after some average hands and then ran into a hot shooter and made some good coin. I had my 8 pressed up to $240 that was originally $18. Ended up winning $850 for the night. Another strategy I like is pressing my 4s and 10s everytime they hit.
@buck03dawg Great Win!! I hope you tipped your dealers. Yes the 4 and 10 press is a nice way to play those numbers using my strategy. It's all houses dough and if they pay, they can pay you big. Thanks for your post and please let me know how you do in the future. Good luck to you!!
@MIke362001 Hello again. No you don't ever loose your place bets coming out or at anytime rolling 2,3 or 12. Those numbers are Craps numbers and only affect you in a negative way coming out on the Passline or if you bet the Come during the course of a hand. Think of those place bets as another part of a game within a game. The only way you can loose your place bets is with a 7 out or if you have them working on the come out roll and a 7 hits. I never work my place bets coming out. Good luck!
Your videos are awesome but I do have a question. Are the rules the same at every casino and when you are playing online? I've been playing on Bodog (for practice just to see what's going on) and it seems that the place bets are in play whether the point is on or off. If a player throws a six on the come out roll and you already have a place bet on the six you win.
@MIke362001 Hello. I've said it before and I will say it again. Cyberspace is no place to gamble your hard earned money away. I hope you aren't playing for real money online. Your place bets don't loose coming out because they are off like the odds on come bets. You don't win with them on the come out roll either. Bodog is wrong. Thanks for your question and good luck to you!!!
@guitarguy1937 You can't touch the passline bet after the point is made. Once the number comes out, your passline bet is a contract bet and will either win on the point number or loose on the 7. You can add to your passline bet whenever you wish, you just can't take from it once a point is made. You can add to or remove your odds bets at any time during the game. Once that puck says "OFF" you can take all your money and run away if you like. Good luck to you. Buy my DVD set to see it all!!
@casualthug07 Yes Sir!........... Highs Bets, Low Bets, Come Bets, Field Bets, Sea-Gars and Cigarettes!! Dice are OUT, Folks!!! You gotta be in it to win it!! Thanks for your post and good luck to you!!
@LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS i I will definitly check out your new spot i need all the practice i can get. if my point is a 4 and i have $5 on the pass line and i hit 4,do i still get paid $9 plus my pass line bet
@sleezzzyp If the point is 4 and you have $ on the passline, it pays even money. The Odds money bet behind the passline would pay you 2-1. That 9 dollar payoff is only if you place the number through the dealer. You can walk into the game after the point is established, say the 4, and get paid that 9 to 5 by "placing the point" or telling the dealer you want a 5 dollar 4. He will either split the lower part of the passline with your bet or he may move the money to the 4 and place it ....CONT
@sleezzzyp CONT......... according to where you are standing on the game. Each casino has different procedure and policy regarding placing a point number. Good question!! I hope I answered it for you.
you woulda made a ton more on that roll if you didnt press 95% of your winnings few shooters are gonna roll hot enough to make money the way you played that.
@CyberSecks13 My player had all but 5 dollars out of the scenario for his bankroll's sake and 62 dollars in action with some healthy bets. All houses money. The casino can only win 5 of his dollars and get their own money back. They hate it when players play this way because it is a grind and it takes a long time to get your bankroll from you. One good hand will make up for every bad hand you ever had. I only need one good shooter to make amazing things happen on the craps table.
looks like 22 dollars of his bankroll and with the long term average of a roll ending within 6 rolls wouldnt you want to win fast and get all of your initial money out ?
@CyberSecks13 Nobody makes money on long term averages, except the house because they are open and playing 24-7 365 days a year. How do you know what numbers are going to roll and give you that fast win so you get your money out? I'd rather see players last as long as they can so they can be on the game when that monster hand hits and pays out huge. My strategy is a grind and the Casino hates to see it played because it takes a long time to get your dough from you.
@BobSTK Looks like you've watched "BIG TOWN" Starring Matt Dillon, Diane Lane & Tommy Lee Jones too many times. So the next 1980 rolls will show an identical outcome? Bullshit. Your math is flawed because it doesn't allow for runs on both the cold and hot side nor do you disclose the points and whether they won or not before 7 out. The dice have no memory or soul and will take your dough and pay you dough. That's what they do. Anyone can post stuff they read online or in a book.
Dealer John Thank You. Since I watched the video I made some good money following you're system. I just wanna know why you didnt play odds behind the pass line after you made a point? Please tell me ands let me know if it is a good idea.
@jvandiesel Thanks very much for your comment and your question. I hope you tip your dealers when you win. I say you should take at least 5X odds if you are going to be an Odds player. I also say use winnings from the house for that Odds bet if you can. There are many different ways to play this game. The Casino wants you to put Odds behind the passline. I'm certain they instructed you to do so when you played. My strategy of play is based upon statistics and probability. Buy my DVD set!
@bigdan4712 I'm not saying "don't take the ODDS", just get your dough out of the scenario so when you loose you are only loosing money that came from the casinos side of the table. Whatever the ODDS pay is what the odds are against you making the number. You have a 2 to 1 advantage on the Passline coming out. The casino won't tell you that. The casino will tell you the ODDS are somehow "FREE" and the only way to play. There are several different ways to play this sweet game. Good luck!!!
@BobSTK I don't think you understand where that 1.41% comes from my good man. Why didn't you mention the other vigs for point numbers and where they come from? I teach odds and all the other aspects of this game on my DVD that I sell. This YouTube channel is a way to try and market my DVD. Do you understand? If not, then make your own product and put up a channel on YouTube that shows your vast knowledge of this game. I make money from beginner players every month. Good luck to you anyway.
@BobSTK The player does have a 2 to 1 advantage coming out...winner over looser. Any other number rolled is a new point number and the advantage switches to the house. The odds are now either 2:1, 3:2, or 6:5...winner over looser. That's how the house looks at it. I like the fact that you have read up on the percentages. I like what Michael Shackleford or the "Wizard of Odds" says in his books. It would appear that you do, also. My DVDs are for beginner players who want to learn the game.
@BobSTK Big Town is not a good movie but a must see for Craps enthusiasts. I believe you just want me to show how you play when you go to the Casino. Table minimum Passline bet with full odds and at least 2 come bets with full odds. Right? Or are you a Don't bettor? Maybe a "Dice controller"? How many ways are there to play? More than you are giving me credit for, that's for certain. Good luck with your "systems" learned from books and people like John Patrick or Frank Scoblete.
@BobSTK I will be in Vegas for most of December and part of January. Contact me and I'll let you know where my table is set up and you can get a cheap flight in and show me what you know. Maybe you are in Vegas already. You could watch my DVDs and see I actually teach what you want me to in addition to lots of other stuff you may or may not know about. I would at least like for you to see what I have created aside from my YouTube videos so you understand your neg comments aren't necessary.
@LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS Wouldn’t it be a bit more honest to tell the new player something like this…. Don’t believe anybody who tells you there is a best way to play by using some system, strategy or money management scheme. However there is a little fact (although often miss-understood) that the player betting the Pass line will win twice as often as losing on the “Come out rolls”… but don’t mortgage the house and run to the nearest casino quite yet….Cont
@LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS … as the other #’s 4,5,6,8,9 & 10 or “Point #’s are also a very real part of the “Come out rolls” and can’t be dismissed. They must be considered and are what gives the Pass line bet its house advantage of 1.5151%. Still the best bet on the table for the “Do” player and the most likely to let you beat the house over a short period.
As for me, I am not a big roller by any means. Just like to play within my meager means….Cont
@LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS …Table minimum Pass with double odds, Come bets with double odds on “EVERY subsequent roll after the come out. NEVER turning my odds off. That’s just “My” way of playing. Sometimes a player next to me will ask why I leave the odds “on” and I tell them I’m on vacation and didn’t come to Vegas to “Watch”. @LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS … a bad move ! He actually ask ( as if he was educating me) “What if a seven comes out?” !!! The boxman quickly gave him a little education. I’m sure you know it’s a matter of the players preference and the odds do not change.

Frank Scoblette?? Ha Ha, funny you should mention the scum bag. Please check out the YouTube video “Frank Scoblete & Dom “The Dominator” LoRiggio”. I ( BobSTK ) left a response a week or so ago there you may appreciate.
@LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS BTW, The reason I watched your video is because you look surprisingly like a dealer (I call a friend) at a downtown casino in LV. Been playing at his table for years. He moved to boxman about a year ago and to tell you the truth I don’t play quite as much. Good dealers do make a difference, shouldn’t be underestimated and can’t be paid enough! I know my bets & payouts better than my middle name but I wouldn’t last 1 minute on the other side of the table. How do you do it?
@BobSTK Yes Bob, I totally agree with you. Good dealers do make a big difference. I love the craps game as you can see. That's how I do it. The love of the game and I am not scared of it. It offers an intimidation factor for both players and dealers that is unmatched by any other casino game......except maybe roulette. I never liked dealing the wheel and was not a good wheel dealer. Some of the payouts there are mind boggling......as if craps wasn't hard enough to wrap ones mind around.
@BobSTK A dealer is considered a "break-in" or a NuBee for 8 years on a craps game. It takes at least that long to see all the bets and their possible payouts using different units. I love walking into a craps pit where there is heavy action. I think most dealers would agree that it is a hard game to learn to deal but once you are there, you wouldn't want to deal anything else. The craps crew helps each other make the game work. The craps crew will also jump your shit when you blow it.
@LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS, Lastly... Won’t be in Vegas again until April ( about 10 days ) and wouldn’t mind meeting you. ( That is if you aren’t going to punch me for my initial posts !)
@BobSTK I don't believe I'll be in Vegas in April. My summer job with a white water rafting outfitter starts about then and I have been doing it faithfully for the last 10 years every summer. I have never thrown a fist in anger or in frustration. Only in self defense. I have seen lots of violence around a craps game before and have no stomach for it. I would rather see people having a blast around my game and not getting their teeth knocked in by some drunk asshole. Craps should be fun!!!
Glad you liked my tutorials here on YouTube. My 3 Disc DVD set is over 5 hours long and you get much deeper into the game than what we have time for here on YouTube. if u placed the same bets on the field, the point bets 5,6 and 8, u would never lose any money, u could jus ride out those bets until a 7 was rolled and wiped out the whole table
@liltp3 The average craps hand is only 4.5 rolls of the dice. Not enough for you to break even or make money. Everyone is hoping for that shooter to hold the dice for a while and shoot on the outside of that average. You could be served up the old Nevada Breakfast.............2 rolls and NO coffee!! Seven out!!!! Good luck and thanks for watching. Buy a DVD set and learn about the whole game!!
@jeff13148 Actually, the best bet in the house is the passline comming out. The casinos convince players that odds are somehow free and the only way to play the game. The odds are that 7 is going to roll and take away your dough. I don't preach to not play the odds, just use houses $ to make your odds bets. I only play the odds when all my $ is out and I have only houses $ on the layout. They want you to put odds $ behind the line like you said. Play any way you wish and good luck to you!!!
@SourGrasshopper Your computer is just plain wrong. There aren't any really good craps games out there that play like the house. There are too many different varaibles in play to duplicate. If you aren't both a craps dealer and a computer programmer, you can only go off of what you know or understand about this game. I say the programmers aren't all that craps savy.
It sounds like the best bet is always the seven or eleven to win or passline. It's a 0.22 probability to get the 7/11 and a 0.11 probability to get the 2/3/12. Wouldn't it be the smart thing to always be the passline??????
@vcomp1960 I have made good sums of money from that passline bet. My Craps DVDs show you a neat little trick to get houses money working to protect houses money on the come out roll. I try never to use the word "smart" and "gambling" in the same sentence. Being smart means being educated, which is what you will be if you buy my DVD. Thanks for watching and good luck to you !!! Buy a DVD set and learn that sweet little move they don't want me to show you. Thanks again!!
Hey, what is the deal with the 6-roll and 8-roll bets on the buy line? I've found that you do not need to bet a different amount for those than for the 5-9, and 4-10. This is higher stakes, though. Why did you say you have to bet $6 or whatever you said on the 6-8, but you can bet 5 on a different combination. Does this have to do with the place to win 7 to 6 payouts, and the Buy 6 to 5 payouts? Thanks.
@Sparkster559 Sorry I missed your question and it has taken me so long to respond. That 6 to 5 pay off on 6&8 is the true odds and the ratio the odds will pay for those 2 numbers if you have a passline bet or a come bet in association with them. The 7 to 6 is a way for the house to maintain a small percentage advantage over you when you bet on the 6 & 8 going through place bets....the second highest probable numbers in the game by the way. I hope this answers your question. Good luck!!!
So...is the house's money the money that is live? For example, the money we invested into the game when you first started and then the payouts on those bets we make, would it be considered that?
@yamibakura21 At the end of this scenario, most of the money out their is HOUSES money becuase of how the player managed his dough. Take your investment out of the game as the numbers hit so you are playing with THEIR money. In this scenario, we start with players dough. Then as it progresses the player takes his investment out so if he looses he isn't loosing his bankroll. One really long hand can make up for all the terrible hands you ever had. Good luck!!
@yamibakura21 The money you won is from the houses side. It is what you do with it that makes all the difference. Where you put it or how you look at your investment on the table makes you an "educated gambler" in my opinion. Get your dough out and play with THEIR money. Simple as that.
Well.. you're absolutely wrong. That $62 lost *WAS* the player's money. Once you win it, it no longer belongs to the house. It belongs to YOU.
This is a bad way of thinking when at the casino. Justifying a loss with 'sour grapes' ("Ah well, it was the casino's money anyways..") attitude is what the casinos want you to think. They want "their" money back.
@Dweller777 The player had almost all of his original investment out of the game and all but 4 dollars of the money he was playing with was from the dealers bankroll. Call it yours or theirs, its what you do with it that counts. What does the house have a shot at in this scenario?..........only gettin their money back and not the players. Thats how the house looks at it. Play any way you wish........the casinos don't want me to show you what you are learning here.
Just say I have chips on the numbers (6 and 8 for example), and the shooter rolls his point (lets say it was 9). I get that the game starts again, and you put chips on the pass line again etc.... but what happens to the chips that I had on the numbers from the previous roll? Do they stay in play, or does the dealer take them chips? Or does the dealer only take them chips when a 7 is rolled?
@dillonefc Those chips are now in play again and a 7 will wipe them out along with your passline bet, field, and most proposition bets. Thanks for your questions and be sure to buy my DVD to get the whole story.
@dillonefc A "hand" on the craps table is when you start out with a new shooter and the dice roll until a 7 out happens. Craps hands can be 2 rolls of the dice or 200 or 2000 rolls of the dice. Every hand is a little different as the dice roll random and that makes each hand different. Thanks for your question and be sure to buy a DVD to get the whole story!!
I dont get this... so all them chips you have on the numbers, just say the dealer rolls a 9 like you said you did - you pay out on the pass line, what about the chips you have on the numbers ( 4, 5, six, 8, 10) - arent these classed as losers, and wouldnt the dealer take them chips??
@dillonefc Nope.....those chips are now "OFF" and not in action. They won't win or loose on the come out roll, no matter what rolls. They go back into action after a new point is established.
Why aren't you making any "odds" bets behind your pass line bet? I thought that making this "odds" bet was supposed to be the best odds a craps player could get?
@jjhawksjj I teach all about Odds bets, proposition bets, and all the do's and dont's on my 3 disc set. Over 5 hours of info and scenarios to watch and learn from. You get to see several strategies of play at work and see how they stack up against each other on multiple hands of play. Thanks for your comment and for watching!.
@LooieENG2 Where you stand on the table is where your chips are represented in the dealers workspace. Don't move around and learn where your money is on the game. It is to your benefit. Buying my 3 DVD set would also be to your benefit.
Nice vid. I probably wouldn't have kept so much money on the line after all those wins, though. Once it's paid, it's no longer "house money;" rather, that's MINE! :)
Very good tutorial, otherwise. Keep up the good vids!
yes u are right. I mean if i bought in for 1k and just made $10 bets on t he field I should hit that damn field one in 10. I never bought in for 1k. im jus sayin. it seems like it would hit at least once or more
There are 16 dice combinations in the field. 20 combinations are not in the field. The odds are 20 to 16 against you....or 5 to 4 against you making it. I don't farm in the field except at the beginning.
Next time I go to las vegas im gonna hit the crap tables up and say 7 a whole bunch of time just to piss everyone off XD

Good luck to you!!!

what about odds?
Burner55 1 month ago
@Burner55 I think people should take odds with winnings from the house so when they loose, they aren't loosing the money they came to play with at the casino. There are many ways to play this game and the Casino has everybody sold on taking odds as soon as they hit the table-with the money from your pocket. I was told I would be fired for teaching what I do here on YouTube because the house can only win their money back when the dice hand 7's out. They don't want you to learn from me.

Why not play the odds on the pass line? That's the best bet in craps and you don't even mention it
twohitdead 2 months ago
@awadbab When that black puck is "OFF" that means the placed numbers are off also and not in action. There was no payoff due to the player in either of the places you mentioned. You might not understand the way the game plays just yet. Watch my videos over and over so you understand why things get paid and why they don't. Good luck to you and thanks for watching and learning!!!!

@LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS i played at an online casino and they took my placed bet away even tough the puck was off (im sure it wasn't a "buy" bet). Is it the program that is wrong?
Freezypeak 2 months ago

187dAFeD 4 months ago
@187dAFeD No worries. Craps is the best game in the World for sure. It keeps me sane as well.

187dAFeD 4 months ago
@187dAFeD Do you subscribe to dice setting or do you believe it is horse shit?
LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS 4 months ago
@LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS I think there might be something to it. At first the dealers were like a broken record when I was throwing like a normal person. Always a point then the devil. After I learned about dice influence I was rolling five times before rolling the seven hitting the point in between hands making money. I guess it could have been luck. First time I ever threw two sevens in a roll on the come out roll I about shit a brick.

Is that uncommon/ will it drive the table guy crazy?
faithandpractice 6 months ago
Why are you stacking your pass line bet? Shouldn't you take odds and place behind? Missing out on bigger pays.
BrysonJohn 6 months ago
@BrysonJohn My player had all but 5 dollars out of the scenario for his bankroll's sake and 62 dollars in action with some healthy bets. All houses money. The casino can only win 5 of his dollars and get their own money back. They hate it when players play this way because it is a grind and it takes a long time to get your bankroll from you. One good hand will make up for every bad hand you ever had with a proper progression. I only need one good shooter to make up for all the bad ones.
LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS 6 months ago
rather than pressing the pass line, why wouldn't you place odds on the pass line? After hitting 4 points, your player would've had profit instead of loss. Seems kinda silly to me to press a bet with a worse pay out. Set the point with table minimum, place your odds, hit the point, and win more than a straight pass line bet. Also I don't like having a pressed pass line when you can have a shooter crap out on the come out roll and you lose the entire bet rather than table minimum. Just my $.02

LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS 6 months ago
@LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS I understand the concept of using "house money" to play, and practice it myself, but doubling your pass line bet before the come out rule is foolish. In your video, you double your pass line bet, and then immediately crap out. If you had kept betting table minimum in planning of placing odds, you would have kept an extra $5. You then make the point, which if you bet odds instead of doubling, you again make more money for the player to put back into their bankroll.
talkaboutblue 6 months ago
@talkaboutblue Players have a 2to1 advantage winner over looser on the come out roll. I get to take advantage of multiple wins on the passline coming out. I'm hoping the odds play out and that 7or11 shows up before making a point. If you watch the #4 video, the result would cost you more money putting odds behind the line. I'm not saying "don't take odds", just win a bit from the house so when you loose, it isn't your bankroll in the toilet, just them wining their own money back for that hand.

So if the puck is on a 2,3,or 12 won't hurt you but a 7 will? And if the puck is off a 7 doesn't end the round and a 2,3 or 12 will loose you the pass line?
santhony74 10 months ago
@santhony74 Yes......if the puck is "ON", 2,3 or 12 won't hurt you. You are in the middle of a hand and a 7 will wipe you and everybody else out. xRyansextonx 10 months ago
@xRyansextonx Some people take the money when they win and put it in the rail in front of them. I spread out my coverage and bet the houses money back at them. One good hand will make up for all the bad hands you ever had with a proper progressive betting strategy.
LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS 10 months ago
I see the strategy you are describing but I feel like the field bet is questionable for many scenarios. Although it helps give you more numbers, it wipes out any winnings you might get for the middle numbers by losing the money on the feild. So you are basically shooting for low odds numbers.
nickweber22 10 months ago
@nickweber22 You are totally correct. The Field bet is a bad bet for sure. Only 16 dice combos to win and 20 to loose. That's 5 to 4 odds against you making the numbers and they only pay even money on most of those numbers........2 & 12 usually pay double or even tripple to get you to put money out there. I only use it in the beginning of my strategy because we can cover a lot of numbers with only $5 up front. I stop betting the Field once I've won there and bet up on the numbers. Cont....
LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS 10 months ago
@nickweber22 If I loose in the field I press the 5,6, or 8 and replace the field bet. If I loose again in the field, i have won enough off of the other numbers to pretty much cover the other numbers on the board. The field is totally out at this point until the next hand and I start over with the same strategy.........I'm looking for a long hand that will help me retire early. The longer the better. Get your money out and bet houses money back against them. Take advantage of a long run!!!

Thank you so much for your help, these videos are awesome!
bwl5037 11 months ago
@bwl5037 Thanks for the questions. I get my money out, place all the numbers with houses money and then press, or double my bets, every other time they hit. I get paid and use progression to increase my bets. Press every other time on the inside numbers and every time on the 4 & 10. In between points is still the same hand. You only start a new hand when a 7 wipes you out and then you start all over with table minimum bets with my strategy. Buy a DVD set and see hours of action on this.
LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS 11 months ago
So when do you start pulling money from your bets to your bankroll? It seems like once you get that initial bet back you just keep pushing everything you win back onto the table. Is there a point where you say, "Ok, now I want to stop upping my bets and take everything I win into my bankroll."? Also, between hands, do you always clear all of your bets and start as if you just walked up to the table, or leave coverage from the last hand? Would that coverage be the minimum? Thanks!
bwl5037 11 months ago
when the puck is on do i always play the minimum with 4 5 6 8 9 10 ???
suns32 11 months ago
@suns32 You can play up to the table maximum on the numbers if you wish. I just say start small and take advantage of a long roll of the dice. On a $5 game that's 5 bucks on each number except for 6 & 8 which take 6 bucks. Thanks for your question and Good Luck to YOU!!!

How many different variations are there to come out rules?
rssllt7 11 months ago
@rssllt7 There aren't any variations on the come out rules. Your computer program has it all wrong. There aren't any good craps games in cyberspace.

I really like the system you used in this video. I used your strategy for starting up, broke even after some average hands and then ran into a hot shooter and made some good coin. I had my 8 pressed up to $240 that was originally $18. Ended up winning $850 for the night. Another strategy I like is pressing my 4s and 10s everytime they hit.
buck03dawg 1 year ago
@buck03dawg Great Win!! I hope you tipped your dealers. Yes the 4 and 10 press is a nice way to play those numbers using my strategy. It's all houses dough and if they pay, they can pay you big. Thanks for your post and please let me know how you do in the future. Good luck to you!!

Second question. If you have place bets in place and have not covered the passline, if a shooter rolls craps do you lose your place bets?
MIke362001 1 year ago
@MIke362001 Hello again. No you don't ever loose your place bets coming out or at anytime rolling 2,3 or 12. Those numbers are Craps numbers and only affect you in a negative way coming out on the Passline or if you bet the Come during the course of a hand. Think of those place bets as another part of a game within a game. The only way you can loose your place bets is with a 7 out or if you have them working on the come out roll and a 7 hits. I never work my place bets coming out. Good luck!
LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS 1 year ago
Your videos are awesome but I do have a question. Are the rules the same at every casino and when you are playing online? I've been playing on Bodog (for practice just to see what's going on) and it seems that the place bets are in play whether the point is on or off. If a player throws a six on the come out roll and you already have a place bet on the six you win.
MIke362001 1 year ago
@MIke362001 Hello. I've said it before and I will say it again. Cyberspace is no place to gamble your hard earned money away. I hope you aren't playing for real money online. Your place bets don't loose coming out because they are off like the odds on come bets. You don't win with them on the come out roll either. Bodog is wrong. Thanks for your question and good luck to you!!!
LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS 1 year ago
@guitarguy1937 You can't touch the passline bet after the point is made. Once the number comes out, your passline bet is a contract bet and will either win on the point number or loose on the 7. You can add to your passline bet whenever you wish, you just can't take from it once a point is made. You can add to or remove your odds bets at any time during the game. Once that puck says "OFF" you can take all your money and run away if you like. Good luck to you. Buy my DVD set to see it all!!

sleezzzyp 1 year ago
@sleezzzyp If the point is 4 and you have $ on the passline, it pays even money. The Odds money bet behind the passline would pay you 2-1. That 9 dollar payoff is only if you place the number through the dealer. You can walk into the game after the point is established, say the 4, and get paid that 9 to 5 by "placing the point" or telling the dealer you want a 5 dollar 4. He will either split the lower part of the passline with your bet or he may move the money to the 4 and place it ....CONT

CyberSecks13 1 year ago
@CyberSecks13 My player had all but 5 dollars out of the scenario for his bankroll's sake and 62 dollars in action with some healthy bets. All houses money. The casino can only win 5 of his dollars and get their own money back. They hate it when players play this way because it is a grind and it takes a long time to get your bankroll from you. One good hand will make up for every bad hand you ever had. I only need one good shooter to make amazing things happen on the craps table.
LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS 1 year ago
@LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS
looks like 22 dollars of his bankroll and with the long term average of a roll ending within 6 rolls wouldnt you want to win fast and get all of your initial money out ?
CyberSecks13 1 year ago

Buy my DVD set!

why increase your pass line bet when you can take odds
bigdan4712 1 year ago
@bigdan4712 I'm not saying "don't take the ODDS", just get your dough out of the scenario so when you loose you are only loosing money that came from the casinos side of the table. Whatever the ODDS pay is what the odds are against you making the number. You have a 2 to 1 advantage on the Passline coming out. The casino won't tell you that. The casino will tell you the ODDS are somehow "FREE" and the only way to play. There are several different ways to play this sweet game. Good luck!!!

Don’t believe anybody who tells you there is a best way to play by using some system, strategy or money management scheme.
BobSTK 1 year ago
@BobSTK Yes Bob, I totally agree with you. Good dealers do make a big difference. I love the craps game as you can see. That's how I do it. The love of the game and I am not scared of it. It offers an intimidation factor for both players and dealers that is unmatched by any other casino game......except maybe roulette. I never liked dealing the wheel and was not a good wheel dealer. Some of the payouts there are mind boggling......as if craps wasn't hard enough to wrap ones mind around.
LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS 1 year ago
@BobSTK A dealer is considered a "break-in" or a NuBee for 8 years on a craps game. It takes at least that long to see all the bets and their possible payouts using different units. I love walking into a craps pit where there is heavy action. I think most dealers would agree that it is a hard game to learn to deal but once you are there, you wouldn't want to deal anything else. The craps crew helps each other make the game work. The craps crew will also jump your shit when you blow it.

Why no free odds on the pass line bet? That's supposed to be the best bet in the house. Thank you
jeff13148 1 year ago
@jeff13148 Actually, the best bet in the house is the passline comming out. The casinos convince players that odds are somehow free and the only way to play the game. The odds are that 7 is going to roll and take away your dough. I don't preach to not play the odds, just use houses $ to make your odds bets. I only play the odds when all my $ is out and I have only houses $ on the layout. They want you to put odds $ behind the line like you said. Play any way you wish and good luck to you!!!

SourGrasshopper 1 year ago
@SourGrasshopper Your computer is just plain wrong. There aren't any really good craps games out there that play like the house. There are too many different varaibles in play to duplicate. If you aren't both a craps dealer and a computer programmer, you can only go off of what you know or understand about this game. I say the programmers aren't all that craps savy.

It sounds like the best bet is always the seven or eleven to win or passline. It's a 0.22 probability to get the 7/11 and a 0.11 probability to get the 2/3/12. Wouldn't it be the smart thing to always be the passline??????

Hey, what is the deal with the 6-roll and 8-roll bets on the buy line? I've found that you do not need to bet a different amount for those than for the 5-9, and 4-10. This is higher stakes, though. Why did you say you have to bet $6 or whatever you said on the 6-8, but you can bet 5 on a different combination. Does this have to do with the place to win 7 to 6 payouts, and the Buy 6 to 5 payouts? Thanks.
Sparkster559 1 year ago
@Sparkster559 Sorry I missed your question and it has taken me so long to respond. That 6 to 5 pay off on 6&8 is the true odds and the ratio the odds will pay for those 2 numbers if you have a passline bet or a come bet in association with them. The 7 to 6 is a way for the house to maintain a small percentage advantage over you when you bet on the 6 & 8 going through place bets....the second highest probable numbers in the game by the way. I hope this answers your question. Good luck!!!
LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS 1 year ago
So...is the house's money the money that is live? For example, the money we invested into the game when you first started and then the payouts on those bets we make, would it be considered that?
yamibakura21 1 year ago
@yamibakura21 At the end of this scenario, most of the money out their is HOUSES money becuase of how the player managed his dough. Take your investment out of the game as the numbers hit so you are playing with THEIR money. In this scenario, we start with players dough. Then as it progresses the player takes his investment out so if he looses he isn't loosing his bankroll. One really long hand can make up for all the terrible hands you ever had. Good luck!!
LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS 1 year ago
What's the difference between the money you won and the houses? o_o?
yamibakura21 1 year ago
@yamibakura21 The money you won is from the houses side. It is what you do with it that makes all the difference. Where you put it or how you look at your investment on the table makes you an "educated gambler" in my opinion. Get your dough out and play with THEIR money. Simple as that.
LEARNTOPLAYCRAPS 1 year ago
Well.. you're absolutely wrong.
Dweller777 1 year ago
@Dweller777 The player had almost all of his original investment out of the game and all but 4 dollars of the money he was playing with was from the dealers bankroll. Call it yours or theirs, its what you do with it that counts. What does the house have a shot at in this scenario?..........only gettin their money back and not the players. Thats how the house looks at it. Play any way you wish........the casinos don't want me to show you what you are learning here.

I get that the game starts again, and you put chips on the pass line again etc.... but what happens to the chips that I had on the numbers from the previous roll? Do they stay in play, or does the dealer take them chips? Or does the dealer only take them chips when a 7 is rolled?

When is classed as a hand??
dillonefc 1 year ago
@dillonefc A "hand" on the craps table is when you start out with a new shooter and the dice roll until a 7 out happens. Craps hands can be 2 rolls of the dice or 200 or 2000 rolls of the dice. Every hand is a little different as the dice roll random and that makes each hand different. Thanks for your question and be sure to buy a DVD to get the whole story!!

I dont get this... so all them chips you have on the numbers, just say the dealer rolls a 9 like you said you did - you pay out on the pass line, what about the chips you have on the numbers ( 4, 5, six, 8, 10) - arent these classed as losers, and wouldnt the dealer take them chips??
dillonefc 1 year ago
@dillonefc Nope.....those chips are now "OFF" and not in action. They won't win or loose on the come out roll, no matter what rolls. They go back into action after a new point is established.
