Riley fitted perfect on the raw very first style and sound. I`ve seen them. They still are f***ing good and it is brillant to have them still on stage. Show us any other band of that time,where sound and acting is still of that size and quality or comparable in metal... none! Metallica does sound like session musics.. Pantera is gone.. Ozzy still good but in trouble.. Maiden do not hit the line.. vocal sound like shit .:-) The only comparable and fit band is Priest Sorry>>>>>>> but Blacky rules!

When he was younger he was obviously acting a little bit too similar to Gene Simmons,which he won`t like hearing at all,but his very own voice and fantastic stage acting is much better than from anyone else in his genre..especially of those he started looking at when he was starting his career. blackie lawless is the biggest dick i have ever seen. i remember seeing wasp at bogarts in the early 90's. the drummer was really cool and going around talking to everyone like a regular guy but not blackie. he was acting like he was the biggest star on the face of the earth. people were lined up by his bus to get autographs. i saw people going through who handed him something to sign then stuck out thier hand for a handshake. he did sign autographs but would not shake their hands.

Lemmy had been playing in bands before Twisted Sister started out. He basicly told Dee how to act and move on and off the stage when Dee was still very shy and unsure about himself as a frontman.
He doesn't even acknowledge the crowd cheering him.... he's still a dick. I remember seeing WASP back in '85 and some people in the crowd were calling him Blackie BALLLESS, it was hilarious. That's when I think they started throwing meat into the crowd.

Just look up "Chainsaw Charlie" and see if that's considered glam. Their look might hang on the edge of glam, but the music is something different. The music is raw.

I'd love to see Huey Lewis and the News do the "Sports" album in it's entirety. I think it was the most under appreciated. "Picture This" was way overrated amongst the fans and critics alike.

You mean you don't respect bands with fluffy hair and who wear leather and studs. Poison is glam, hun. And if you compare WASP to Poison, you've obviously not heard any of their music. Argue with that one, and I'll bite your fuckin' head off! Now, for a more informative note; WASP is considered sleaze metal and heavy metal. Just look up "Chainsaw Charlie" and see if that's considered glam. Their look might hang on the edge of glam, but the music is something different. The music is raw.

Has nothing to do with comparing them. If it were so, then Slayer is pop music compared to Cradle of Filth or Dimmu Borgir. A genre is what it is. That's that. You can compare a dark-skinned Puerto Rican to a very pale white person and say "Well, they might as well be a nigger". Does that mean they are? No, they're still spaniards no matter the comparison. That kind of arrogance frustrates me to no end.

Depends on whether or not you ever gave it a chance. If so, then you have a right to your opinion. I like a little bit of everything (more rock and metal than anything else), including a little rap. I don't like how so many African Americans seem to have lost their identity (as well as some white men) considering I can count how many of them I've actually seen listen to metal on one hand. They use it to blend in. That bothers me. So in a way, yes. I do agree the culture is a bit ridiculous.

Bullshit...priest invented metal. Stained class was the most over the top most furious, most heaviest thing to come from the 70's...nobody had dual guitar riffs like that with over the top song stuctures and angst like priest. mainstreem priest like britsh steel(shiity album)is what you must be thinking of.
