I just started poling and I really love your videos. I have been using them to learn different poling moves. I could only hope to get as good as you one day.
hi can you pls explain how to execute this? i'm about intermediate as far as pole tricks but i find this particular move quite painful-lol (tummy skin ouch!) am i doing it right if it hurts there?

I respectfully disagree. I feel it would only be cheating if it was easier, but when the pole spins it adds another level of difficulty. Mine is a Platinum Stages pole. I can do that position when the pole is static with no problem, but if was just holding that position without the pole spinning I think it would look kinda silly. I enjoy using my pole in spin and static. Sometimes for half a song I keep it static, then I pull the pin and fly. The cupid is really pretty in spin.
Felix is the worlds best pole dancer and she uses both spinning and static during her performances. I believe when you compete they require you to do both.

It really hurt my stomach too. Keep trying though. It gets better. Really engage your abs.

But spinning pole handles completely differently to static pole and I personally find it MUCH more difficult to control.
