While I agree that a Christian song doesn't need fancy drums or guitar, it doesn't take away the lyrics meaning for EVERYONE. One person could listen to this and be rocking out and forgetting the lyrics but I could listen to it and the guitar does nothing but ENCHANCE the lyrics for me! Because I recognize lyrics in any song, the music is just something in the background for me. XD

as good as this song is, and as great as the band is, an actual christian song doesn't need fancy guitar or drums, it takes away from the point, which is the lyrics. the music should not overpower the lyrics when the lyrics are more important. as we all know, lucifer is/was the angel of music ..

Is a piano too fancy? is a pipe organ too fancy? because they didn't have those in Jesus's day. Is it only worship if the music is played poorly? is the worship better if someone doesn't know how to play the instrument? Just because worship music has been done one way for a while doesn't mean it is no longer worship if it changes.

The message is in the lyrics, and as long as it points us to God, that is what is important! Christians get tripped up on musical style way too much... Flyleaf has mainstream appeal and I would say that more than half of their fans are not believers. If they can connect people to God through thier unique style of music, why is that a negative thing?

Oh man I praise God for this band. Jesus Culture, David Crowder, and Flyleaf all have different influence in different groups of people but they are all preaching the same message and worshipping the same God. Thats whats so powerful about this song for me is that it is the same song but everyone who covers it can minister this song to just about anyone. any group. or any person. Praise the lord for diversity in the body of Christ in ministering the message of your love :))

It just warmed my heart, it makes my faith stronger and I believe that they are here to spread the word of God.
