  • They were the poppy version of Japan

  • I was in a band called Fabrique, and we covered this. Still love this, and saw them many times live. Ahead of their time.

  • Great to see this

  • glorius!

  • There is a black man @ 0:01

  • Dee Harriss - well you would wouldn't you.

  • Dee Harris made an album with the keyboard player from Pink Floyd. (I think they were called ZEE..) It was the terrible. This, however is fantastic...

  • Time hasn't been kind to this ▬↓

  • @PAULLONDEN

Buy the album and listen to it loud, time has been more than kind...

  • I miss the 80's more than anything!! I was most definately there!!

  • WOW!

  • I remember this well. This very performance was what turned me onto them. I bought the single, the album (the cassette version was superior as it was extended with 12 " mixes ) - they still sound fabulous !

  • I saw them do Off the Record for TVS at the studios in Gillingham Kent, awesome show and i got signed goodies at the end including speaking to Mulligan...

  • I envy you,.. I only got to see them in their other line up.. (Troy Tate etc) They were a Birmingham Band and way ahead of their time I think... But there will be no re union as 2 of them are dead !1

  • Two?? I know Dik Davis is dead, who's the other one that died?

  • Saw them at the Pink Coconut, brighton about 2 months after this was shown on OTT, awsome band!.

  • I second that request!

  • I remember the open air show in the botanical gardens birmingham they were excellent

  • This is one awesome synth-funk groove that rocks!!!!!!!

  • Martin left Dance for this?

  • I believe they were from Brum? Unless anyone knows anything else!

  • Apparently Dee's wife (Gina X) kidnapped him!! or so the other band members said.... Troy Tate just couldn't take over where Dee left off!!

  • Hi lonegroover! Thanks for posting this awesome vid! Cordially, Chris

  • Hey Mulligan, where are you man?

  • Shame you don't get to see much of Mulligan! They were just a great band.

  • I loved this band this was probably done with a backing track (the drums are live but dunno about the rest) a left handed bassist too!

  • Fashion seems like a very unusual band for the time, but they were great.

  • Absolutely fookin awesome. Thanks for posting. OTT was a great show and they had cool Bands. Fashion were the best 80's Band by far. Such a shame Dee left after one album.

  • I used to watch OTT but I missed this. Fashion are playing live on this. What a great band, should have made it much bigger.

  • Great,any more Fashion live?
