We leave SPI, drive thru Brownsville, cross at a bridge on the east side, (immigration takes never as much as an hour,) thru Matamoros. And then it's about 4 hours to La Pesca. These are state hwys: smooth blacktop with twists and turns and tiny towns and topes. So we avg only about 45-50 mph. It's an increasingly nice view south of M - so we take it at a leisurely pace. ~NKS
