looool, heart monitor. did it, didn't hurt, only the "lie on a sand sack to suppress any internal bleeding" left me with a bad sore ... lucky the hospital had some nice nurses to massage it out again :)

i m female i will have chest biopsy and small lump in the chest what they do in biopsy ? they just put hole in it and take the tissue and test it or they take out lump same time and do they let me sleep or should i awake? Can you plz reply me asap?

I guess they would have to KNOCK me out altogether because I would never be able to be still and cooperative because it scares me way to much...they would really have to sedate me heavily..

Nice video, I have had several biopsy's but I always have shoulder pain afterwards and my GI doc said it was referred pain and they always give me pain meds for the next few days, the procedure too bad and my doc said that some people don't need sedation (I always do though lol)

At least they put him to sleep I had to stay awake...all they gave me was that anastedic

i have to do a liver biopsy on Wednesday, and im only 16. im scared shitless........ anything or tips that i can relax? they said they wont put me to full sleep.

so when the klatskin needle is in the liver already.. you inject a little bit of NSS and then aspirate.. then a sample is obtained already?..

Huh. I had a liver biopsy three years ago and if I recall, my incision was more toward the center of my body. If you stop the video at 9:52, move the x up about two inches, that's where my incision was. Maybe even more. Maybe I have 'low nipple syndrome'...haha...

So, I guess the question is, is the incision always in the same place ? A radiologist did mine and he was searching around with an ultrasound before he found the spot.
