If universe is left to itself, all energy will become useless and the universe cannot sustain any activity. @quezcatol It's really all a moot point, because humans do indeed "mutate" all the time. That's why we all look different from each other, for the most obvious example. Also, ionizing radiation damages DNA, causing mutations. Cancer is a result of mutating cells. And so on, and so forth.
@indegruv well you also should know that many "repair cells" in our dna try and fix broken dna etc, and since 70% of our dna isnt even used / junk dna when we talk about mutated dna its not that much, and as you know, when you get children with another person 99.9% of that persones gene who isnt mutated carry over to the kids since they are dominant genes. thats why interbreed is so bad, because you have a mutated/bad gene mixed twice, instead of a fresh clean good gene to your kid.

Most of the time, it's for normal reasons. But, it's still a MUTATION. It changes forms. That's all you need to know, when arguing whether living things "mutate" or not, as per this video. I'm not gonna go back and forth about this. It's all been studied and published already.

It takes tens of thousands of years for generations to pass DNA information along like certain immunities passed from parent to child hereditarily. My point is that from microbal from in the first instances of life on earth (depending on climate and habitat), cells on a smaller scale like bacteria etc can multiply much faster than larger animals, speeding up the process..

@indegruv well you also should know that many "repair cells" in our dna try and fix broken dna etc, and since 70% of our dna isnt even used / junk dna when we talk about mutated dna its not that much, and as you know, when you get children with another person 99.9% of that persones gene who isnt mutated carry over to the kids since they are dominant genes. thats why interbreed is so bad, because you have a mutated/bad gene mixed twice, instead of a fresh clean good gene to your kid.

Most of the time, it's for normal reasons. But, it's still a MUTATION. It changes forms. That's all you need to know, when arguing whether living things "mutate" or not, as per this video. I'm not gonna go back and forth about this. It's all been studied and published already.

NATURAL SELECTION DOESN'T PRODUCE ANYTHING. It can only "select" from what is produced that has survival value. If a variation occurs that helps a species survive, that survival is called being "selected." That's all it is. There's no conscious selection by nature. It's a passive process. Natural selection is a figure of speech. The term itself is a tautology. Natural selection only operates once there is life and reproduction, not before. It takes tens of thousands of years for generations to pass DNA information along like certain immunities passed from parent to child hereditarily. My point is that from microbal from in the first instances of life on earth (depending on climate and habitat), cells on a smaller scale like bacteria etc can multiply much faster than larger animals, speeding up the process..

@Xarata873 ...add a couple billion years to that on top of various climates, food and living conditions and these species will ultimately change to adapt to their surroundings. Much like you don't see Eskimos in grass huts or Arabs wearing woolen parkas, except on a much larger scale. You can't deny the theory of evolution if you think about what the word means. Everything evolves, technology, mentality(some of us), social behaviour...thats just pointing out the last century...

APES ARE QUITE COMFORTABLE IN HOW THEY WALK, just as humans are quite comfortable in how they walk. Even a slight change in the position of a muscle or bone, for either, would be excruciatingly painful and would not be an advantage for survival. There's no hard evidence that humans evolved from ape-like creatures anymore than there's hard evidence that apes evolved from four-legged-pawed dog-like creatures. GENETIC INFORMATION CANNOT HAPPEN BY CHANCE, so it's more logical to believe that genetic similarities between all forms of life are due to a common Designer who designed similar functions for similar purposes. It doesn't mean all forms of life are biologically related! Also, "Junk DNA" isn't junk. These non-coding segments of DNA have recently been found to be vital in regulating gene expression. WHAT IS SCIENCE? Science is knowledge based on observation. No one observed the universe coming by chance or by design, by creation or by macro-evolution. These are positions of faith. The issue is which faith science supports. Natural laws explain how an airplane or a cell works, but undirected natural laws cannot bring about either. Once there's a complete cell, the code/mechanisms exist to direct the formation of more cells, but how did the cell originate when there was no directing code.

I think the movie is "Jesus Camp". It's a fantastic and very troubling movie. The filmmakers don't seem to be biased one way or the other; in fact, they have some positive things to say about Christianity, but they are critical of extremists. Overall, one of my favorite movies. Torrent it.
