@swcoast I think you can find it on every amazon site, or on streaming or download sites, cause it's famous. Or it will be for sure in your dvd store if they have asian sections in UK. But I was wrong^^ : it's only the 2nd saddest movie on earth. The saddest is Grave of the Fireflies. Easy findable too.

The movie's about the rebuilt of Japan after the WW2.

It was very good, and I love Jin Roh, but it seems everyone that makes a more art based video on Jin Roh avoids the more powerful imagery, i.e. people being shot to bits or eaten by wolves, which I think takes alot away from the emotional factor of the film.

To answer your question ajreddragon, I don't think this goes as a spoiler. Jin Roh takes place about 10 years after world war 2 but in a fantastic setting in which Japan was conquered by Germany , after the 10 years they are trying to rebuild the government and the special squads are equiped with the red nightvision and the helmets because they are actualy Nazi influenced since Japan was conquered (may not be entirely correct but i think i read it on the Jin ROh site)

Watched this one with my dad back when I was beginning high school. i cryed in this movie. Its so amazing. A slow pace, but to people like me who enjoy those types of long movies, it makes you love the characters. Ites beautiful animation and this song is so amazing. I love it. I havn't been able to find it for over 5 years. i hope down the road I can order it on e-bay or something.
