You might call me crazy but I think this was ND's biggest win under Weis (but if you say breaking the bowl drought, I won't argue with you, that's a SUPER close second). Not just who the Irish beat, but the margin of victory. 41-17 over a team two or three plays away from being conference champs (take away the up for grabs TD that should have been picked and a Morelli pick six and PSU beats OSU 9-7 or 13-7, take away a fumble, missed FG, and missed 4th down pass and PSU beats Michigan 20-17).

yeah no excuses. Even though our team is being lead by a QB who graduated high school a couple months ago.

Beating us this year will take PSU no step closer to getting their dignity back. ND is completely different this year than last. Our team last year, would do the same thing as last year this saturday. PSU just can't hack it against a well-oiled machine.

I was expecting ND to demolish Michigan after scoring 41 astounding points on Penn State's defense. I'm still surprised that they didn't, since Penn State played both Michigan and Ohio State down to the wire that year.

Who cares? The game was played on September 9th, and Penn State got ripped by 24 points. Those are the facts.

What good does it do to fantasize about mythical stipluations? "Well if they played the game on the moon at zero gravity, at noon with the grass cut an eighth-of-an-inch lower, with less wind and 100 more people in attendance...blah, blah, blah." Quit whining. The score is what it is...a 24 beating at the hands of Notre Dame.

Yeah, Notre Dame really wiped our asses in 2006, but we got revenge in 2007. I was expecting ND to steamroll over Michigan after torching us. ND is my second team, so I always wish them well except when they play Penn State. Only time I cheer against ND is when they play Penn State, but I'm never TOO devestated if ND wins.

I will say this: although it is a bitter rivalry, ND at least has classy fans and an extremely classy coach. You should be proud of that. Unfortunatley, the same can not be said for some other schools... ("THE" OSU).
