I've heard about the "standard eyes". With this shape, you can see the hole lid with your eyes open, and you can pretty much do whatever you want, and that's my shape.

Well, and my question haha, i have light brown eyes, the colors that i should use are the same as the dark brown eyes?

I have a bright blue with some green/grey apparently. So to make them pop out what colors? I know for greens you can use purples, blues can use brown colors, etc. But I want to play up all of them at once. xD

@crazymonkee92 hey you should use a purple blended with pink this will make the colour of your eyes stand out and look more dramatic hope this helps ? also if you wanted t play them all at once try blending the colours what was shown on the video by putting them in darker and lighter so say if the purple was darker than the pink obvs !! put the pink first and then belend the purple in does this help ?? or make sense hah

@crazymonkee92 I have blue eyes as well. Browns and coppers are going to make your eyes pop the most, because the contrast between the cool tone of your eye and the warm toned eye shadows will make for a high contrast, immediately bringing other people's eyes to yours. I play with shades of deep blue, green and purple for contouring. If you are trying to go for a bold look, avoid using eyeshadows that are close in color or tonality to your actual eye - the contrast is what draws attention.

Use liquid eyeliner to make them bigger (check out the large anime/doll eye video response to see how) :)

@IHasABlueberry I have heterochromia too! Anyway........I find that when I where either blue or brown, my two eye colors, one of my eyes always looks bigger than the other. The best colors to use are grays and purples, because they go with both! Hope it helps!

What about like... If you have Heterochromia (your eyes are different colours, like one eye is green, the other is brown) ? I have heterochromia, and my left eye is brown with a patch of green with golden dots near the middle of my eye, and my other eye is green/blue with bits of brown.

My aunt's eyes are two different colors(green and brown), but I didn't know there was a name for it. I think it's really cool and unique looking. I think you could use makeup for either color but I'm not an expert.

I still don't know what shape I have..when I put eye makeup on I can't see any of it when my eyes are open ....when I look at all these different eye makeup tutorials online all I see is girls with different eye shape then mine and their eye makeup shows great after they are done...=(

@sexylicioussjade try bringing the makeup up towards your brow bone. Dont put it on too intensely though. and i know, same here. Are you eyes closely set or further away from each other?

I always call my eyes "chameleon eyes" because they seem to change color depending on what color clothes I am wearing that day. I'll have to experiment with some of these suggestions to see if I can really enhance a particular color. Thanks for the upload! =)

hrm... i think put black liquid eyeliner ontop and white pencil on your lower waterline to make the eyes bigger. If you do the black eyeliner thicker in the middle it will round your eyes more :)

@ImTheAwesomeGirl1 no offense, but my eyes are brown and can go from looking like my pupil is my entire colored part of my eye, to a to a sort of hazle color with one or two gold fleck s in them. eyes can be that bright. naturally might i add. because my eyes can get very bright. and they change with my mood. if i'm sad they go to a kind of darker brown than normal. when i feel amgry they go black, happy a hazle color. and extremley happy to the light hazle with gold flecks.

you didnt do deep set eyes.. tho i think i have a combanation of hooded, deep set and closed set eyes.. cause my eyes are exactly maybe a lil bit shorter than one eye length apart which is closed set but my eyes are so deep set or hooded that my eyelid really dont show so when i put on eyeshadow it seems theres no point i mean u cant tell or see it so.. yea.. help?

@AshleyNicoleEilers i think i know what you mean...when you put eyeshadow on, you cant really see it unless you close your eye? Try the small eyes makup for this :) also try the Droopy eye makeup. Just puting your eyeshadow slightly over your lid (above it) you should be able to see it :)

most people will have a combination of different eye shapes so you just gotta keep experimenting to see which works best for you

@AshleyNicoleEilers I have this problem too...I love eyeshadow but whats the use if it doesnt show..I basically have to look down or keep my eyes closed for the eyeshadows to show =( For my deep-set eyes I try to stick to a single eyeshadow in a lighter shade right up to the brow and try a medium, not dark shade in the crease cos we dont want to emphasize the depth. Try shimmery, glittery shadows on the lid.
