@asrtkl I'm reading Golden Boy right now. It's an excellent read and you certainly don't look at Lillee, Chappell and Marsh the same way again. Not that Kim was entirely blameless either.

@inxia38 Let's not forget it is one man's version in the end. If you read Lillee's autobiography, 'boy-wonder' Hughes is presented in a very different light. I'd take opinions with a generous pinch of salt.

@lovenlovemakeshappy Lillee and Marsh were both gone from Test and ODI cricket by the time Hughes resigned. It was more the ineptitude of their replacements that took a toll on Hughes. But you're right that the Lillee/Marsh vs Hughes feud must have taken its toll on him.
