  • SOme filipino passengers that are seated in first class for Philippine airlines, are some big time crooks that when you arrived in Manila, you will see they got lots of white uniformed escorts which i believe are officers from immigration and bypassed the normal process like other ordinary passengers has to go through..Too funny, prior to their flight from US , all of them went through undignified security pat downs by TSA..hahahha. justice given anyway!

  • great channel :D

  • I am going to fly PR105 and PR104(from feb 28 to march 12) i am non-revenue, and my dad is a flight steward and business and economy is open, i hope I sit in business, most likely yes, cuz my dad knows all the pursers. :)

  • I am flying this,on my flight to manila .

  • Pal is way better than cathay now.

  • Why is the remote the other way around?

  • Right RP-C8168 has 50 business class seats?

  • that reminds me of the time I took a flight to manila from Cebu and I paid for Economy, but since the flight was full, they moved me to First Class :D

  • @apersonwhoisamember your are lucky dude :D

  • WHEN I FLY I FLY MABUHAY ALL THE TIME :D ITS GOOD I USE UP MILES AND SOMETIMES PAY MY MILAGE CARD IS NOW MILLION MILER :D

  • Do they use this for SF? IF not just tell me the registration the mostly use for SF.

  • Does any one know the B744 of PAL that has business class seats until behind the second galley?

  • what registration is this?

  • @dancena2 N751PR

  • @nikko0752 Actually it's now RP-C7471

  • Ahh...Camon Man!!! Ang Business Class ng PAL parang yung sa Cathay Ahh?!!

Tas ang Economy Nila Parang sa Qatar Airways?!!

  • wow...thats way better than economy..what about first class?

  • hahahah i guess theres no first class...look at the wikipedia

  • theres no first class.....

  • walang first class ang pal

  • The First Class was phased out many years ago and recently transformed the F Class section of all of its aircraft into Business class.

  • Kinda know that by now, after all those comments...still wonder y ppl still keeps tellin me that there is no first class, includin u bro..

  • What flight number is this?

  • first class ticket is really expensive

  • what first class

  • PAL WISH LIST SANA LNG!!!:-

Cut codeshare routes and take the routes. Must add more routes!!!!

Must change uniform and put it in more classy look like ETIHAD's uniform (PAL's uniform looks like EMIRATES' uniform!!) and Air France. Must have liveries. Must increase Ads. Must offer more comfort to its cabins. Must upgrade its aircraft's cabins. PAL must shout out they are proud being PINOY!!!

  • oo nga eh. dapat kayang sumali sila sa airline alliance?

  • yep...mas mganda pag sumali sila sa airline alliance such as star alliance or one word...kasi nakakatulong un sa airlines...dagdag advertisment o kya minsan nman if their allied to other airline other airline could code share with PAL...atsaka madami pang iba...hehe

  • I agree with you! Sana nga PAL can be part of any alliance like Sky Team.

  • your plans for PAL are a sort of weird things. PAL is trying to make its own name in the airline industry without imitating the uniforms of other airlines or cutting codeshares. Codeshares function as back up for long haul flights. why cut the codeshares? only airlines who can afford get exclusive code share contracts with other carriers. pls. have your recent analysis on PAL's dev't as of now. aircrafts of PAL are the most upgraded ones compared to other airlines.

  • OMG!

  • I hope that when I have my vacation in Vancouver, I'll be riding on this plane :))

But I can't afford Mabuhay class so its just drooling for me XD

  • I don't like PAL for their safety videos. Not because its boring but they didn't speak in Tagalog. Lol i know what I'm saying is retarded, but the Philippines has their own language and they should use it. In the safety video they were speaking in English with Chinese subtitles.

  • its because Filipinos knows how to speak English and foreigners/americans dont speak Tagalog, that's why it's English.

  • Not all Filipinos knows how to speak English.

So the airline would rather speak English rather than the country's own language which is Tagalog? I mean the foreigners who couldn't speak Tagalog can just read it from the subtitles right?

  • nah PAL is just being classy but not makabayan...i think PAL should do english and then translate to tagalog...or it can also be english LANG...because indeed FILIPINO's or the majority of FILIPINO's knows how to speak english nman,,,its not about not speaking the countries own language...but PAL is just trying to be professional...proffesional na HINDI MAKABAYAN>>>>

  • Ofcourse I know Filipinos know how to use English but you don't get my point. I'm not saying Filipinos don't know how to speak English you dumb douchebag. I'm saying they should use their language first before English. Why? Wouldn't you want that? It shows you still have culture and some other sorts of heritage shit. You think I'm talking trash about the Phil? Well read the comment again. Don't call me dumb when you're the stupid douchebag who has poor English grammar.

  • @just0watch0this Majority of First Class and Business Class fliers are English Speaking people particularly Americans, Canadians, Australians and other countries where the major business language is done in english. They are the ones that can mostly afford a 1st class or business class airline ticket, NOT filipinos. Most filipinos I have seen fly ECONOMY. I have been to the Philippines many times and that's from my observation coming from Canada

  • @Bwahahahahahakangina I wasn't talking about travel classes in PAL and who can afford them. I was talking about the language. If you look at my comment from 2 years ago, it says there that PAL should use Filipino as the language and not English because that's the language of the country, right?

  • @just0watch0this True but for the sake of also the foreign english speaking passengers, they should use both languages just as Air Canada does with French and English as both languages are the country's national languages. Besides, the Philippines is also known to be bilingual and fluent in both English and Tagalog so they should use both.

  • @Bwahahahahahakangina Exactly my point, mon frere. They should use both.

  • @just0watch0this Now that you did mention it. I do remember one occassion where I took a flight but was so sure it was Japan Airlines from Tokyo to the Philippines and the Filipina Flight Attendant spoke in Tagalog on that flight going into the airport at NAII. They did it in both Tagalog and Japanese as well as English. JAL has one of the best airlines I've flown. I like JAL and Cathay Pacific. I have not tried PAL yet but intend to this time.

  • Damn dis is hot. On what flight does this plane goes?

  • Most of the times: MNL-LAX/SFO, some: MNL-CEB, HKG and NRT.

  • LA/SF/Las Vegas to Manila Philippines

  • I was expecting something better, but what a great start! Good job PAL

  • OMG! I'm so flying pal again. hahaah. this is the new enhanced mabuhay class, isn't it? I bet it's way more expensive than the former mabuhay class fare.

  • MABUHAY ANG PAL!!!

Im so happy that PAL refreshed its Look!!

i hope even their A330 and A340 will be like this!!

    even A320 and A319.....

  • their a319's and most of their a320's are new. hindi nga lang kasing spacious yung mabuhay class

  • their A340s will, but not their A330s...

  • are the new business class seats only available in upper deck only?

  • entire cabin. Economy seats now have its own PTV on each seats. Business Class seats for upper and lower deck is just the same.

  • WOW!

    IT LOOK SO FUTURISTIC!

MY WISH JUST CAME TRUE IN 2 Minutes!

    weee!!!!!!!!!!!

It looks more advanced than other airlines.

But pal should have A LIVERY on layouts

  • @extrakurt Did you fly RP-C7471 or RP-C7473?

  • still not at par wirh CX EK and SQ, these seats are angled (same with what CX J class USED to have)It still doesnt look COCOON-ish to me Well at least PAL is trying to be competitive.

  • is there any new safety video?

  • not sure.. they did manual safety demo..

  • sounds like they're creating a new one.

is the seat lie-flat or angled?

  • this is lie-flat.. but convertible to full flat

  • this is a bigger step forward for PAL rather than sticking to the old cabin interiors.

  • definetely a big leap forward..

i dont expect them to be as advanced as SQ (Which is by far, the world's best).. But this new PAL Business Class is respectable, way better than the old one..

  • The next time I fly to Los Angeles (or San Francisco), I will DEFINITELY book myself in Mabuhay Class Upper Deck on Philippine Airlines' 747-400s.

  • Im disappointed about the new interiors. It's not what I thought it was going be. The hyped cocoon new business class seats are so-so compared to Singapore and Cathay Pacific's even other major airlines. For PAL to be really competitive in the world airline industry, they should have gone all out with their cabin refurbishing.

BTW, what flight were you in when this video was taken? I understand one of PAL's 5 747 400aircraft is now fully refurbished with new cabin interiors.

    Thanks!
