what is best way to use eg minerals shadows so that they show up because on me the colors i got look like just a lot of glitter...

Did the shadows you get have glitter in them? Because some of their shadows do have glitter. I've experimented with them and they show best when applied wet or using them with eg minerals translucent eyeshadow base

Thank you. As a beginner I think you should have a quad/palette with different shades of browns. Browns work great for everyday use. Maybelline and Covergirl have great quads. Also having long lashes just make eyes pop, so get yourself a good mascara like Covergirls Lashblast of Maybelline's DefineALash.

The sample jars will last you a long time. I used the 2 eyeshadows that I used in this tutorial 4x last week, and it doesn't even look like I used any out of the jar. It still looks full. A little goes a long way.

Your blending skills are insane!! Could you do a tutorial on how you blend and what your favorite brushes are to use for blending. Are there any general rules?? It is really hard for me and maybe it just takes practice, but your blending always looks great.

Yea EG Minerals is awesome. Have you tried nyx's loose pearl shadows? They're really cheap (99 cents each) and are very pigmented.
