You don't understand the dynamic here. They will do that -anyway- if they are so inclined. Someone is in their power,, they will do whatever they please, they can't be stopped.

There is also the possibility your torturing someone who does not HAVE the information you want. But through the interrogation he learns what your trying to hear so you just "confess" that to stop the torture.

That is how we gained the Iraq / Al Queda link that never existed yet while interrogating through tortured testimony they were able to get a verification. No physical evedence whatsoever linked them, just the word of a man who was in torture.

It's ironic with all this "home-land" security that when I've gone the airport I see an old white woman being searched on the side (purse contents torn apart) while men wtih turbans walk through with an attitude and never get stopped once!
