I wouldn't expect another Zelda game till 2010 at least! I'm hoping for one that will graphically rival TP, they already said that TP would be the last of its kind, by that I hope they mean the twilight and transformations, if they mean the graphics.... I'll be upset.

the longest time between 2 zeldas was between oracle of ages and ocarina of time (5 or 6 years I think) and TP came out in 2006 so it's been 3 years since then and PH came out in 2007 so it's been 2 years since that one. but the diference now is that they alredy have the device of TP so this time it shouldnt take so long probably in 2010. they did the same wit MM they had the graphics of OT so they didnt need to develop another device

no no no!... there has never been that long a wait before in zelda.

ocarina came 98/97 depending on where in the world you live. it came 98 in Europe.

and MM came in year 2000 that's only 2 years. wind waker came in 2002 in Japan and 2003 in Europe. that just two years again.

but Twilight came in in 2006 and we're now in 2009 that's three years :O this is the longest wait we've had for a zelda :S

well Nintendo has a "zelda ds team"

and a regular "zelda team" which makes games for Nintendo's stationary gaming consoles.

but Miyamoto stated at e3 2008 that the "zelda team" and the "zelda ds team" work on the new zelda wii together this time. but I suppose that the ds team works part time on their own game and then exchange idea's with the other team or something.

I just hope that this extra long wait means extra good zelda game...

This game is not going to be released until the end 2009 or 2010. It is unlikely to come out in 2011, because that is the year when the next generation consoles will come out, but be sure that this Zelda won´t come out in january, February or March. Maybe for christmas...

Nintendo said not. Miyamoto said that he is not even sure that he can show something in this E3. They wnat to take the neccessary time to make it perfect, because Miyamoto said that with TP they didn´t have enough time to put all the things they wanted, like for example a fourth suit for Link. (He also said that this fourth suit will maybe apear in the new title). Also it is probably that the new Zelda will have a strange gameplay patent that Miyamoto made. Do you know that patent?

alot of things were said. games can take MANY years depending on amount of work put into the concept. people are saying the next one will be set in the future but that would ruin the franchise...like obliterate it. miyamoto said anywhere from 2010-2011 and they won't show a video at E3 unless it'll come out that year, year as in between then and then next E3, it'll be shown either this or next year's E3. also miyamoto said it'll be made suited towards casual gamers.

it's for casual and hardcore gamers. They're incorporating a digest mode for more casual players that will give them hints, videos, and a CPU that can take over and do dirty work for them. and then for hardcore gamers, they can play it normally without hints and the like. With this mode I'm sure he's doing it becuase it will be challenging.
