I liked this review. However, I have to disagree about the Chiaki-Hatori-Yuu story. It made me want to grind my head against a brick wall. It was mainly Chiaki too because he was so idiotic and air-headed.

But I really do agree on Takano's character. His character was so funny but as Season 2 rolled around, his development just spiked through the roof and he's one of my favorite characters EVER in any anime. Yukina and Kisa are my fave couple though ^_^ I connect with Kisa the most anyway.

But anyway, Dylan, I'm happy to see that you also liked this show! I have to admit, I had a hard time keeping track of all the characters. Unlike Junjou, almost everyone in Sekai-ichi worked in the publishing biz not to mention the same darn office, making ask myself, "Now who is this guy again? The editor or the manga-ka or..." My favorite couples were Onodera/Takano and Kisa/Ko.

P.S. An OVA is being made for the same mangaka's single-volume manga Hybrid Child (I highly recommend that book).

I wouldn't hold my breath for a dub, presuming this gets a DVD release over here. Junjou Romantica wasn't dubbed, nor was Sukisho!! or Gakuen Heaven or the Embracing Love OVAs... US licensors often don't bother subbing niche titles which, let's face it, BL is. Not to mention fans of such genres often participate in, shall we say, tangential fandoms for the original seiyuu (through radio shows, drama CDs, etc.) and, imo, are more likely than the average, mainstream anime fan to prefer subs.

Unfortunately the manga won't come out. >.> It was SUPPOSED to come out last June, but from Blu Manga...which is an imprint of Tokyopop...and we all know what happened last May. :(

Sounds REALLY good. You should definitely read/watch Junjo Romantica, there are multiple couples in there, and if you are really feel energetic read/collect Love Mode.
