Yea i think the same. letting him play with the same age can slow hes progress. let him play with 1 year older, or if he is to good (as i think he will be) let him play with 2 years older.

Your son is really good, he got great talent. so i dont think u shuld slow hes progress.

PS. get him to practice passing to make him better. :)

what a tank..... hes going to grow up to be a very good player..... i suggest that you play him with kids a year or two older so that he gets more experienced and learns to play with bigger kids
