@GetSum1997 They're the Lambent. The Imulsion ( glowing liquid ) inside them kills and currupts them. They die in the end because Marcus and his team find Marcus' father activating a machine that kills the Imulsion ( Imulsion is kind of like a virus ). This caused the Imulsion inside the Lambent ( corrupted humans and Locusts ) to die, spilling out of their bodies. It's hard to say the entire G3ARS story with 500 characters, check the wiki ;)
