The only improvement in HOI3 is that political events are not hardcoded. Meaning, a country has to work towards making certain historical/political events happen as opposed to just waiting for them to happen automatically. It allows for a more random, unpredictable version of WW2. Besides that, this is really a buggy and unsatisfying game. HOI2 is better.

No, apart from it being a Paradox policy not to have genocide or nazi symbolism in the HOI games, there is no point for having it anyway since the games treat unrelated subject matter. It's like asking if genocide will be a feature of the next Monopoly edition.

It is unrelated in that HOI is a strategic war simulation, or grand strategy game. Genocide and symbolism are not relevant on a war strategy level. They may have a place in politics and propaganda that in turn influence the wars infrastructure (resources) but these concepts are already abstracted in the game.

You can perform strategic bombing, which is a proper strategic goal and therefore modelled in the game. Terror bombing however is not.
