  • What the viewers didn't know at the time, is that the couple, were actors and they rehearsed the whole bit.

They did not get the car since they were acting but were paid for their appearance.

  • @planetcheck how do you know????

  • @x3ishere1 The entire show is rehearsed.

All the people you see in the audience are actors and actresses.

    The whole show is scripted.

    You did not know that?

  • I don't feel he should have offered to double the money on the next card they drew, but other than that... wow

  • It's frightening that many of these mushmouthed people are in positions of responsibility. Someone tell the producers that cars have automatic transmissions now. Is a Kia a real car or a zonk? They really shouldn't have exhumed this show from the crypt although Tiffany is hotter than all the TPIR chicks combined.

  • Do contestants get to keep a Zonk prize? I've seen a contestant "win" a run-down Buick. That thing could STILL be restored and flipped

  • my sister was in that show

  • Is Jonathon on Drew Carey's Improvaganza?

  • is this still on? what channel?

  • Wow... Monty still has it.. wish he was the one hosting the new version.. Wayne is OK.. but Monty has class!

  • That was awesome. Good to see Monty again too.

  • MONTY IS SO LOVABLE

  • Congrats. U just won $6000 of repair bills for the next 6 years.

  • W O W - W O W -

  • Wow, I don't think that has EVER happened with the old cash register.

  • @tpir1972 It did happened as an attempt. Look at my YT clip under "dreadful playing of Cash register," from Lets make a Deal. He did the very similar thing. In the other case, the person end up not getting the car, just a cash consolation prize.

  • @tpir1972 Here is the link for the old cash register. Similar attempt. watch?v=yM2Ve1-a7Fg

  • THAT WAS CRAZY!!! I THOUGHT FO SURE ALL OF THEM WERE ZONKS BUT THEN JONATHAN FLIPPED THEM!!! OMG!!'

    I saw oompa loompas :)

  • 0.48% probability. or 1 in 210 chance

  • @sleazieSteve Your math is wrong. They have a 2/15 chance on the first one and a 1/14 chance on the second one, so it would be 2 / 15 / 14 = .95238% or one in 105.

  • This is similar to an segment of the cash drawer if you press no sale, game ends.

  • Yikes! I thought Monty would keel over after this surprise.

  • Happy belated birthday to the original "Big Dealer" himself Monty Hall. Monty turned 90 yesterday.

  • 3:46 did anyone else see the oompa loompa

  • Idź na całość!

  • Dang that has got to be the most unluckiest couple I've seen so far on this show. Wow two Zonks.

  • I'd plow tiffanys ass so hard

  • I fainted after just two Zonks!

  • That... was WEIRD.

  • That's amazing I love this show anything can happen

  • They should get an indian guy to host this show. Ever tried bargaining with an indian?

  • u guys know that is a 0.952380952% chance of happening!!!

  • @fran9860 Lucky Jonathan...

  • Jonathan<3

  • WAYNE FUCKS JONATHAN IN THE ASS.

  • He's really nice to let them get the car!

  • This is just great! LMAD was my favorite show as a kid. Thank you, Monty!

  • how lucky cAan they get

  • When are you gonna post Thursday and Friday?

  • I was so excited

  • Iv seen this episode, That was real nice of Monty, classic lets make a deal style. only monty.

  • wayne BRADY WHITE MAN IN DISGUISE WOW

  • The thing about this version of LMaD I like is that not only is Monty Hall a creative consultant, as he has a say in what goes on with the show (unlike the horrid 2003 NBC vesion) and the week-long guest appearance adds to the interest of this version.

  • @TheFlicker98 this is from the same company

AND it's just as old, if not older

  • It's amazing what people will do just to anything, even if it means getting zonked just to win a car!

  • Monty Hall is 89! Doesn't he look incredible? And he's still sharp. God bless him. He has spent most of his life bringing great fun to all who watch.

  • big wow

  • wayne was 10000000000000000000000000000X better on "Who's Line is it Anyways?"

  • @awesomegirl1point1 What about Don't Forget The Lyrics?

  • NEVER SEEN SOMEBODY SO HAPPY TO GET A ZOINK BEFORE

  • wayne brady or whoever the host is fucking sucks. he's ugly and a kook. get someone else on their!

    i miss monty hall.

    eof

  • I thought a Zonk! was supposed to make contestants lose! Kind of like "Let's make a deal slot machine"

  • EPPPIIIICCCCCCC!!!! That is an EPIC WIN!!!! WOW!!

  • wayne come back to make humor! you are a funny guy man!

  • Great clip...I remember seeing this same deal on the mid-80s version, and nothing like that ever happened...also, nice to see that Monty hasn't lost his touch, even if his voice is a little weaker than it used to be.

  • What type of anti-luck do they have?

  • I personally would rather win hard cash instead of having to worry about paying the taxes on the worth of a non-monetary prize

  • talk about LUCK dammmmmmmmm

  • Damn, they offer horrible cars now.

  • THAT WAS SO COOOL!!!! hahaha yeah, definitely only time to be happy about a zonk. that was fantabulous!!! hahaha

  • Forget Monty Hall, Wayne Bradys Lets make a deal is incredible. Monty Hall just talked on and on and never shut up lol

  • He's older, his voice isn't as strong, but Monty's still got it!

  • Monty just celebrated his 89th birthday on August 25

  • @chuckers40 : HAPPY BIRTHDAY from all of us Monty

  • @chuckers40 GOD BLESS HIM!!!

  • The only time someone was happy; to see a Zonk.

  • that's luck right there

  • ca. 2:39... cue in "TPiR Match Game Hollywood Squares Hour car cue!"

  • It's NOT rigged. That kinda crap ended decades ago. This very same conundrum happened many times in the original run of the show. And then as now, Monty offered the contestants the same option - although rarely with the same fortuitous outcome. Just enjoy the moment without your cynicism.

  • RIGGED! hahahahahahahahahah

  • @kadjrare This stuff's not rigged. I can prove it. This is me and my wife on the show, we're not even American, we're Canadian. All the luck of the draw.

  • @jpac83 - Congrats on your big win, and don't mind Kadjrare, who must be one of those people who thinks anything out of the ordinary that happens on TV just HAS to be staged.

  • I can't type in the address, but search "Let's Make a Deal Honeymoon"

  • Comment removed

  • @RedPortiaOne If no Monty, then no Wayne.

    Hats off to Monty Hall!

  • Well, what is there that can be said other than "Two Zonks make a right."

  • Talk about turning something bad into something very much great.

  • DOUBLE THE MONEY, DOUBLE THE NUMBER, 5x2 is 10, OMG! THIS WAS A MIRACLE!

  • watch lets make a deal it comes monday thru friday

  • ITS A ZONK!!!!! My face: :O

  • @multiflattop LOL as Monty said he did not want to come down and see someone get ZONKED

  • I'm just glad Monty didn't have a heart attack b/c of this; you could say that he got zonked. Wow is right!!!

  • a miracle

  • sumthng smells fishy here :P

  • @chizinjoro Nah, Monty (who still owns an interest in the show is probably one of the greatest opponents of gam)eshow rigging. though Freemantle, i wouldn't put it past them.

  • Amazing. And how cool was it for Monte Hall to give those people that chance in the first place.

  • What a great clip! Even Monty was surprised, and genuinely having fun! Was he on the Thursday & Friday shows?

  • @beentheredonetht And they still got the damn car!!!

  • No one can deal better than Monty Hall! :-D Though Wayne Brady's a better host than Billy Bush was on the 2003 version...

  • Of course not man, No one will ever be better than Monty Hall. Monty Hall is what Bob Barker Is to The Price Is Right :D But I agree Wayne is a excellent Host

  • @gshowguy I think a random guy off the street could of done better than Bush

  • @gshowguy No shit. Monty Hall was smart to hand the mic to Wayne Brady.

  • I doubt that, but I do think they're class acts.

  • @gshowguy What about Bob Hilton (1990)?

  • @gshowguy hes better than monty hall :)

  • I don't recall it ever happening

  • WOW, 2 ZONKS in a row, that's incredible, as this ever happened with the old CASH REGISTER deal?

  • Maybe!

  • I just watched this on PVR. It's just chance that I taped this yesterday while away at a job fair, and back I came to not get a chance to watch it after. This morning he talked about this incredible deal the previous day and I went back to the PVR. I'm with Wayne on this one: what just happened? Simply incredible.

  • that was epic :)

  • 0:02, CC: "we have sex"

4:18: "very first number of abortions..."

    ...Back [can't stop LOL] on topic...the chance of this is 1 in 105 (2/15 * 1/14).

  • It's mathematically the same deal as the old-fashioned cash register deal seen in the LMAD shows rerun recently on GSN. The cash register had 15 buttons with two of them saying No Sale, this deal has 15 cards with 13 money amounts, 2 saying ZOnks. Monty even played the cash register deal out the same way it was played out a few times on the GSN reruns when this scenario occurred. Although in the 70s, the money amounts were $50 and $100, but in the 80s the money amounts were what is seen here.

  • @zachhoran The cash register deal was also in the 1990 LMAD Bob Hilton/Monty Hall version.

  • That is absolutely amazing!!!!
