Thx for posting.I watch a lot animal Rescue and have a big problem the other day with what I have seen.They discovered fighting pitt farm.All of these dogs where all put to death. No argue here, but the owner could not be charged with the crime, because it was not proofen there were pitt bull fights.That clearly shows me,laws need to be changed. How can they kill all of the dogs,but don't get the owner.He just get new dogs and starts over again.That is no solution.You can teach any dog to fight.

Pit bulls arent the only breed who bite. All dogs bite, its their instinct. Pit bullls are amazing dogs. I was babysitting a my friends pit bull Sasha while she was on vacation. We were in the front yard when a black lab came around the corner and attempted to attack me. Sasha(who never showed any signs of liking nor disliking me)immediately charged the lab and fought it off. Sasha needed 8 stitches to her body and she is blind in one eye. who knows what would have happened if Sasha wasnt there.

In any math equation regarding statistics, you must have a common denominator. Population of breed IS that common denominator. This allows that each breed be accurately evaluated in a fair analysis. Common sense dictates that if you have more of one breed, it will dominate dog attack statistics. If he understood this, his entire argument would be invalid.

I have grown up with pit bulls, there hasn't been a day in my life where I haven't had a pit bull or a pit bull mix. They are amazing dogs, and in my opinion, they are they sweetest and best breed out there for people of all ages! Everyone needs to educate themselves about pits, and they need to know that not all are mean. Remember...no matter what breed, big or small, they can be mean if you raise them wrong.

First of all, you are wrong about all three breeds of dogs. Cockers actually have what they call a "rage" gene in which they have a little switch that snaps and they lose it and turn and have a verynasty bite for anyone! Pits are NOT naturally human aggressive. This was specifically bred out of them. I grew up with pits and own three dobes and a beagle. Dobes absolutely do not have heightened aggression, highly intelligent, extremely loyal, dogs that HAVE to be close to humans ALL the time!

Actually, I'm a vet tech, so I know alot more about what I'm talking about than you most certainly do. I know what dobes were bred for and who bred them. I'm all about them. He bred them for intelligence and athleticism so they can be TRAINED to be the best guard he could make. They are not naturally aggressive. Protective, yes, but not aggressive.
You would be surprised how many cockers I have had to put down for aggression. More than pits or dobes.

My sisters dog is a amstaff and he is afriad for retrivers like golden retrivers and labrador retrivers. When he was a puppy he was attacked by a lab. Amstaffs and pits are the same breed for me. I like them, love them. Do that you to. Sorry if i don´t spells somthing right not good att english...

I have a pitbull and i find it hard to walk my dog in the day time people always talking police showing up but luckily i was able to register her and keep her. This video is inspirational! Im going to try to make a movement in ottawa ON and it might be a slow process but i know enough people to make a start.

Thx for posting.I watch a lot animal Rescue and have a big problem the other day with what I have seen.They discovered fighting pitt farm.All of these dogs where all put to death. No argue here, but the owner could not be charged with the crime, because it was not proofen there were pitt bull fights.That clearly shows me,laws need to be changed. How can they kill all of the dogs,but don't get the owner.He just get new dogs and starts over again.That is no solution.You can teach any dog to fight.

As a veterinary technician for 16 years and a the proud parent of 3 pit kids I have yet to come across a single vicious pitty, not one. I on the other hand I deal daily with breeds that I wouldnt trust not to bite if in an unfamiliar situation i.e any ankle biter will snap if frightned..are we as Pit bull caregivers "normal"? Pit bulls arent the only breed who bite. All dogs bite, its their instinct. Pit bullls are amazing dogs. I was babysitting a my friends pit bull Sasha while she was on vacation. We were in the front yard when a black lab came around the corner and attempted to attack me. Sasha(who never showed any signs of liking nor disliking me)immediately charged the lab and fought it off. Sasha needed 8 stitches to her body and she is blind in one eye. who knows what would have happened if Sasha wasnt there.

SBL started in my state and they took both of my pittbulls, but i didnt give them up without a fight, i fought with them for days, then kissed my dogs goodbye, if i didnt get rid of them they were be killed and i couldnt see that, so imkissed them both goodbye and i miss them so much

BTW, although I'm not overly fond of pits (personal preference, nothing against them either), I really like Rottweilers so I feel your pain. In any math equation regarding statistics, you must have a common denominator. Population of breed IS that common denominator. This allows that each breed be accurately evaluated in a fair analysis. Common sense dictates that if you have more of one breed, it will dominate dog attack statistics. If he understood this, his entire argument would be invalid.
