There's a pretty substantial change in the later seasons of this show compared to the earlier seasons. I can't go into it in any length in just 500 words but, sufficed to say, I found myself laughing a lot less during season 6 and, so far, in the first episode of season 7, than in say season 1 or 2. I'm not saying season 6 or 7 are crap. They're still better than 90% of the shit on tv. But I definitely prefer the more mockumentary, improvised TPB of 2001-2004.
