Canadian hockey fans complain that the Ottawa Senators lost to the Anaheim Ducks in only 5 games. They say that at least the Flames (2004) and the Oilers (2006) lost their series in 7. Well my response is that the Ottawa Senators lost to a much tougher team. The 2004 Lightning and 2006 Hurricanes "pale" in comparison to the 2007 Ducks. The Ducks would've killed those teams. Hell I think the 2007 Senators could've beaten the 2004 Lightning. And maybe even the 2006 Hurricanes.

They are also re-appearing as a dominate team (Paticularily in the Pengroth Saddledome, known as the second hardest arena to play in since the lockout), and really SHOULD be the Stanley Cup winners of the 04 Playoffs.
My point is, you have to know what your team has gone through and how quite you guys would have been during the Dead Wings era.
2) Having a better fanbase doesn't mean the team is dominant when they clearly aren't. If they were a dominant team when you said they were they would have more then ONE cup in their history.
3) Better fanbase has to do with no other options for people in calgary then go to flames games.
4) Detroit is a much tougher place to play then the saddledome.

They are also re-appearing as a dominate team (Paticularily in the Pengroth Saddledome, known as the second hardest arena to play in since the lockout), and really SHOULD be the Stanley Cup winners of the 04 Playoffs.
My point is, you have to know what your team has gone through and how quite you guys would have been during the Dead Wings era.

2) Having a better fanbase doesn't mean the team is dominant when they clearly aren't. If they were a dominant team when you said they were they would have more then ONE cup in their history.
3) Better fanbase has to do with no other options for people in calgary then go to flames games.
4) Detroit is a much tougher place to play then the saddledome.

I just provided a solid counter-arguement. The reviewed footage did not include solid evidence of the goal. The puck clearly crossed the line. Now, that's why the goal was not counted. If you can provide an actual arguement against it, which takes that into account, you can try argueing it. As of right now though, you haven't.
