hard to say, i prefer taekema's style and deception, although ive seen some matches abbas has played in and he can flick a ball extremely hard. looks like taekema has it over him on accuracy tho. i'll say taekema.

Hayden Shaw is the drag-flicker for the NZ Black sticks. He did use to be one of the most successful flickers, though he isn't as focused on that aspect of his game anymore. Still is one of the top 5 flickers, NZ does have one of the highest PC conversion rates (think it might of been the highest in WC06, think it was over 50%)

There is a video on here of him winning a game for NZ.... 4th consecutive PC after final whistle, just search for "Hayden Shaw" =D

Taekema only bleached his hair blonde before the Champions Trophy in Terrassa (at a pitch I'm played on :-D ), before that his hair was this colour. Check out the Athens Olympics and the Chennai Champions Trophy if you don't believe me.
