Racing in general takes talent and hard work. Drag racing takes timing and precision, but not like drifting does. Both are just two different kinds of racing. Drag is a comp based on who can go faster and shift better, Drifting is a comp of precision and skill. The fastest car doesn't always win, and its a bigger test of control than drag racing. I hate oval track/Nascar, boring, but its for people that like those kinds of endurance races (400 laps, fuck yeah thats endurance)
How is it talentless? The fact that you have to have the correct angles in order to cover the corner well enough to not crash is "talentless"? Anyone can drive in a straight line, and drive in an oval-shaped track at top speeds, but take those speeds and apply them into a multiple turns track and see if you can handle it.

Racing in general takes talent and hard work. Drag racing takes timing and precision, but not like drifting does. Both are just two different kinds of racing. Drag is a comp based on who can go faster and shift better, Drifting is a comp of precision and skill. The fastest car doesn't always win, and its a bigger test of control than drag racing. I hate oval track/Nascar, boring, but its for people that like those kinds of endurance races (400 laps, fuck yeah thats endurance)

How is it talentless? The fact that you have to have the correct angles in order to cover the corner well enough to not crash is "talentless"? Anyone can drive in a straight line, and drive in an oval-shaped track at top speeds, but take those speeds and apply them into a multiple turns track and see if you can handle it.

Actually, I'm pretty sure most NASCAR drivers could do this IN a NASCAR without much trouble. The Rockstar Scion has a NASCAR V8 in it, and that car probably weighs more. A 200mph traffic jamb takes a lot of skill to drive in. Albeit not very exciting to watch unless they are crashing...
