Mine was a foster home for years. If the CPS was investigated as well as the potential homes are, there shouldn't be any lawbreakers sneaking through. There are "bad" foster homes, but there are lots of good ones as well. We never quit because of any of the children, but because of the stupid decisions of social workers. When children suffer because of a SW's dumb decision, that SW should instantly be fired. Most SW's have no children, and lots are single. So, they work from a book.

As for "where" the children should go, the law is quite specific to this, it states the children should go with family, and only when there is no family should there be a consideration for Foster care. CPSScuks sent me some very good information. It was all about how CPS needs to be reformed and less involved in minor abuse cases. I agree with this, because thats what the figures show. CPSsucks says that CPS needs to be abolished, and you and I both know that this is impossible, as they are completely necessary. I am fighting now to get mine back, my horrible crime was being in a wheelchair so I in their eyes cant "watch" my children good enough.
