Yes, they were very impressive. They never won the state championship but got to the semi-final twice.  Lost in double overtime their senior year to Horizon to go the final.

I remember going to the games in Fresno and seeing them beat teams 90-20. Very talented team.

That point guard cost them the a trip to the state championship their senior year, had two 7 footers on the block and Pondexter on the wing down by 2 on the last play of the game in the state semis... he gets the ball and tries to make a layup in the face of the other team's only 7 footer Jeff Withey... he got swatted game over, season over, high school career over, it was Withey's only block of the game, all you have to do is choose which twin to pass to, but he wanted to be the hero. So sad.

If I remember, their final game went 2 overtimes, so one play didn't cost the entire game.

Than you must also remember that the selfish play by the point guard cost them the chance to send it to a third overtime. You also might remember that Pondexter was absolutely on fire that night, you would also remember that Withey had failed to stop either of the twins with any semblance of consistancy that night, but I will give credit where credit is due, Horizon was a hell of a team that played a hell of a game, but that one selfish play by the point guard ended their last shot at a title...
