Pivot is ok but tisfat has a better framerate and it's not confusing: the body resposnse to the join you move, making it realistic and smooth.

Pivot is also stiff, but need less time to do the moves.

Incorrect, Sorry. TISFAT uses tweening and that overcomes any FBF mistakes easily.

.swf isnt a tisfat format... do you mean .sif if so then no if you really meant .swf then i think so but im not entirely sure
