Processing certain synthetized sounds (especially with Sytrus synth) can sometimes require a lot of calculating capabilities from your PC. For example, I have an Intel Dual Core 2 Duo, 2.4 Ghz and 2 Gb RAM, and when using a certain amount of synth, I have some gibberish sound too. Good news is that when you export your track in Mp3/Wav or whatever, it exports correctly, so the "problem" is only related to when you listen to your track in FL.

Thats because you need more buffer length, if you go into the options (F10) and enter the audio tab, change the buffer length to around 1024 (22ms)

That should fix the problem but when you change the buffer length, keep in mind that you should not set it too high, neither too low.

1. Choose a chord progression or just use the one in this video. It have been used many times.

2. Make the drums pattern or just take one since drum pattern aren't copyrighted.

3. Make a simple melody using notes in the progression like he did.

4. Now, write another melody that's a little more complicated (remember to use notes in the chords if you want it to sound good and smooth).

5. Arrange the melodies. It'll suck at first, but you'll get better.
