  • This Just End..... Don't Kick To Dan Connolly.

  • @123SportsNetwork "This just end"? What?

  • and ppl said the packers are bette than new england hahahaha!

  • the guy at 1:01 isn't impressed

  • @Rickstahification

When does Tom Brady ever look impressed. XD

  • Comment removed

  • years later it is still hilarious

  • Guys like Dan Connolly are what makes this league tick. Unsung, in the trenches, out of the limelight, playing multiple positions well, and happy just for a chance to be in the NFL.

When they get their big chance, they show what they are really made of.

This is my favorite return of all time just because it is so unlikely. Dayum that dude is so fast for 300+ lb lineman. Imagine what it is like to a 190 lb safety trying to tackle a guy that big with a full head of steam! Gotta love it.

  • patriots rule!!!!!!!

  • Keep your eyes on Patriots number 50, hes usually in the center of the screen. Had he been moving to keep up with Connolly the entire time, he could've blocked two packers and probably let Connolly get into the endzone.

  • hes pretty fast for such a huge guy. faster than some thin people who dont do sports. just shows how athletic you gotta be to be an NFL player even if you are "just" a lineman.

  • Ahhh!!! Their in my right ear!!

  • Illegal Block in the Back, Receiving team number 34. 10 yard penalty (I think), 1st down New England.

  • Block in the back to the kicker. Nice run for the big guy though.

  • Love this!!!!!

  • the pats don,t need green-ellis and welker.......they have wilfork and connolly

  • I remember that game... smh

  • there was no block in the back at 0:59. the defender had his back turned to the ball carrier when he was blocked

  • haha! This makes my day :) this should inspire fat people to run more

  • The loaf of bread carry! haha

  • fuck yeah let's go patriots FTW!!!

  • I don't think they tackled him as much as they finally wore down his hit points haha

  • who are the people who disliked this video...must be packers fans

  • LoL Tom Brady didnt give a shit haha

  • @jlglol No Dude...it was more a look of...WTF just happened!...LOL

  • block in the back at 0:59

  • he put his team on his back doe!!

  • @WorldChampion1 and they fit with room

  • @MrX3joe Hahaha (cris collinsworth "you gotta be kidding me!")

  • And at the end of the day, zero fucks were given by Tom Brady. 1:02

  • This is the only time I've ever been upset that the pats didn't score a TD

  • Holy crap i saw this play on tv when i was little!!!!

  • Who said lineman arent athletic? Lol

  • omg lol

  • If Ninkovich tackled those last two guys, Dan would've been home free for the TD. LOL

  • lol i hate how everyone laughs at this guy, this was a sick return!

  • even its a year ago i can watch this every day... so freakin amazing

  • All football games should be announced by Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth. ALL OF THEM.

  • @Rawnchie14 Yes...

  • So awesome

  • and they say o-linemen r only good 4 blocking

  • A loaf of bread carry then they unleash a ninja assassin 1:05 The Patriots are epic.

  • Why squib? There was 2 whole minutes left.

  • now wheres my hungry man!

  • The Loaf of Bread!

  • I still can't believe this happend

  • This is why I love the NFL--for all the big plays by the big stars, you get one totally awesome run by some guy nobody knows. Awesome, big guy. Awesome.

  • I remember watching this. I was laughing like hell haha it still cracks me up

  • i'm pretty sure both fan bases wanted him to return that to the house. this was the shit.

  • when I grow up I want return the ball just like Dan Connolly lol

  • I'll take him over Hester anyday

  • Dan got some speed

  • who fucking gives a shit about justin beiber

    who

    gives

    a

    shit

  • i was watching this game. if he would have scored i would have flipped and that would be the play of the century

  • The only way to redeem yourselves after this defensive embarrassment is to win a Superbowl...Luckily, they turned it around. haha!!

    P.S. PATS ALL DAY!!

  • No matter the sport, I've just love watching the big "unskilled" guys going on long runs.

  • that was some rumbling, bumbling, stumbling right there

  • He did one thing that skilled guys don't understand sometimes, FOLLOW YOUR BLOCKS!

  • pretty obvious clip on #2 crosby. probably coming back some, but good return none the less

  • @RossxP I am irish you idiot, Co.meath Ireland look it up, im catholic too you sap, so shut your mouth yeah faggot

  • Look at the big guy with the Boobs.

  • Warning to punters and kickers: DO NOT KICK TO JACKSON, HESTER OR CONNOLLY!!!!!

  • hes got quite a stiff arm!

  • damn brady would it kill you to smile once in a while fuck

  • Packers still won superbowl

  • Brady's just like: "Wow... um, okay."

  • "Look at the big guy with the moobs!"

    wait whut?

  • @videolives lmao!

  • if only #50 would've been running at ful speed he woulda blocked #49 and it woulda been a TD!

  • I gotta get him as my kick returner on madden

  • Randall Cobbs ran an 80 yd. punt return in for a TD against the Vikings last week, one of them also ran a 108 yd. punt return in for a TD as well...forgot what team though... :)

  • lol anyone see bradys face? he was like WTF?

  • Guys you don't kick to: Devin Hester, DeSean Jackson, Dan Connolly.

  • @KA128183 Lmao yeah you might as well kick it out of bounds or else Connolly is gonna get it and fly by everyone

  • @KA128183 dante hall ... !!!!!!!!!!

  • This has got to be one of my all time favorite football highlights. Every time I see a big guy make a play on Sunday afternoon I wanna come back and watch this video.

  • He saw a Big Mac.

  • as much as i dont like the patriots (ever since they beat my eagles in the superbowl), i can't stop watching this video hahahaha

  • @supahdupahguy81 How about you get the fuck out of here if you dont like it. Hey i dont like american football so im going to go watch an american football video! Yeah that makes a ton of sense.

  • @91gt306

Well it makes alot more sense than trawling through pages of comments trying to find anything remotely anti-gridiron just so you can give them some whiny, indignant responses....

If they upset you so much why go out of your way to read them??

  • @supahdupahguy81 And if you dont like american football then why watch these videos? This crap of all you rugby fans trolling these american football videos just to trash the sport is pathetic and you know you are going to get a response when you do that. But its ok i guess, i can understand that you may insecure in you sport.

  • @91gt306

i got here by accident, i didn't leave a long comment....and what i said wasn't even that bad.....talk about over-sensitive. I could say alot worse about this sport....

And LOL at me being a rugby fan.....i think all sports that use an egg-shaped ball are primitive & stupid TBH.

  • @tumppi121 How did you make your way to this video? The title doesnt say anything about football. Troll.

  • @TheEmpireOfJarvis Lol yeah your probably some unathletic piece of shit anyway. fuck off

  • i love cris collinsworth's reaction at 0:08

  • lol i remember watching this a year ago.

  • Im a packer fan and I couldnt help but laugh when this happened

  • they didn't really tackle him, they just whittled down his hit points.

  • Fucking awesome

  • Hester wishes that he could be just like Dan Connolly!!

  • man I hope they actually scored a TD after all this!! :)

  • And for the record, I view and appreciate both sports.

  • All this talk of which sport is better is stupid. Each to his own. But for the record; as a global sport, Rugby Union has a larger appeal than American Football, regardless of Superbowl viewership. The fact is more countries have official governing bodies for Rugby Union. The IRB - International Rugby Board - has 97 full-time and 20 associate members on every continent. Rugby will also be an official Olympic sport from 2016. That is a true sign of global appeal.

  • @thestaggie Ok and what does any of that have to do with this video? Its just a video of a lineman running a kick return back and we still cant get off this rugby vs football crap. It seems like rugby fans concern themselves way to much to our sport then we do theres. Its actually kind of pathetic.

  • @91gt306

What are you on about? I never started the Rugby-Football thing. I just simply stated that Rugby does have a larger global appeal and that I appreciate and watch both sports regardless of popularity anyway.

  • @thestaggie I just dont see the relavance to this video.

  • Yep, this still makes me smile, after all this time. @CymroGoch Oh wow, I'm glad you came over here and straightened us all out. I'm pretty sure all of us NFL fans are ashamed of ourselves and will flip over to rugby now. Dude, or Dudette as the case maybe, do you really have nothing better to do than to sit under that bridge?

  • hahaha big guy can run

  • The cool partis, he has a sick run, and all the Receivers and backs are making nice blocks, it was jsut a cool play.

    That dude was nice though.

  • 1:06...NINJA!

  • Pretty much anti-Pats fan but this was great, lol

  • I'm not even a NFL fan but this just cracks me up.

  • @DanConnollyFan At least he was fit enough to have gay sex; fat Dan would have a seizure.

  • Hahaha, look at how fucking fat and slow he is. Rugby is so much better than this shit.

  • @CymroGoch

He's a 300+lb offensive lineman you fucking nugget. His job is to block, not carry the ball. As for your Rugby, each fucking NFL team has more worth than all the Rugby on the planet. Scram.

  • @rygu79 All rugby players both block and carry the ball when required. Your 'sport' is fucking shit.

  • @CymroGoch

Yet made more money in the time it took you to type that delusional post, than the all-Blacks will ever make. Every SINGLE aspect of athleticism is dominated by the NFL over any boring rugby crap. I'm just going by facts, not by bias opinion like yourself.

  • @CymroGoch Rugby is so much better??? Really? Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the Superbowl draw a FAR larger international audience than whatever the Rugby championship game does? If I'm not mistaken, the only single sporting event that competes is the World Cup championship game, which is "Football" to the rest of the world, but "Soccer" in the USA.

  • @MandalaDesert No shit, Sherlock. That's because there's no such thing as a "rugby championship game". Although we've just had the rugby world cup, which drew a larger audiences than the superbowl. Oops.

  • @CymroGoch Rugby World Cup, eh ... ? So which game exactly drew a larger world audience than the Superbowl? Or do you mean the Rugby World Cup games accumulatively? My review of the Rugby World Cup shows a finals match. Is that not the equivalent of a 'Championship"?

Worldwide viewership for single games/events in sports are always largest for the FIFA World Cup Final, then the Superbowl, then Cricket, THEN Rugby. At least ... according to figures I've been able to research.

    Okay, Watson ... ?

  • @MandalaDesert For the record, the Football World Cup Final beats the Superbowl fairly easily. The Superbowl compares more equally to the UEFA Champions League Final, which is the final game of a 32-team tournament made up of the best clubs across Europe.

I couldn't give a shit about all this arguing about which is better. I like football, NFL AND rugby, and know many rugby obsessives who enjoy NFL too.

  • @daveworley True, the FIFA World Cup Final is always the single most watched sporting event worldwide. I realize the wording in my other post was more ambiguous about that. Which sport is "better" is, of course, very subjective. I find Rugby to be a bit silly, but then I realize that American football seems silly to others. Few sports enjoy the universal appeal that Soccer does, but my point was that the Superbowl is usually one of the most-watched sports events in the world.

  • @CymroGoch If you feel that strongly about this sport then why are you here? Its funny how you and all the other rugby fanboys flood these videos of american football. You know what that means? You must be very insecure of your sport, otherwise you wouldnt bother watching these vids, let alone commenting.

  • around 15 seconds is there not block in the back? mason crosby got a good push ob. correct me if im wrong.

  • @lifegoson8 Eh hes a kicker I don't think the ref cared lol.

  • @rudylexi8 probaly right lol.

  • that ties with bj raji's score for the best lineman play ever...

  • It looks like a black team vs a white team

  • Not a pats fan at all but that was just awesome

  • The look of absolute disbelief on Brady's face is priceless. This should put a smile on your face no matter what team you root for.

  • @TheChapelx

I'm a Raiders fan and I cracked up when I saw this and it still makes me smile. You gotta love it when one of those hogs get moving.

  • lol yeah, sucks he didn't actually score though, he was close

  • mabye there was a ding-dong in the endzone...

  • @killerpepper00 Or maybe a twinkie

  • How many linemen get a chance to score a touchdown? Bet he was pissed.

  • lol Brady's face just says "I'm too handsome to care about that"

  • i'm a bills fan, but i really wish he scored the TD on that play

  • 1:07

i cant believe i screwed that up twice.

  • THE LOAF OF BREAD CARRY

  • I'm sure Connolly loved sitting on his couch watching the Packers win the Super Bowl. I know I sure did! :D

  • nothing but the love of great football plays should have brought you here.

  • I am one of the biggest Packers fans you will ever meet, and even I couldn't hate the Patriots for this. Are you kidding me? That's the highlight of this guy's CAREER. I was laughing in disbelief when it aired live. Well-played, New England. Hope to see you in Super Bowl XLVI !!

  • @ericjmtu Definitely. You never know who can step it up on a team like that.

  • @ericjmtu you have class not like jets fan. Packers-pats superbowl will just be awesome

  • I pooped in my fridge.

  • I'm a huge Pack fan, and HATE the Pats... but damn, that was awesome.

  • Cracked brought meh here

  • Shipoopi, Shipoopi, Shipoopi!

  • I think the only appropriate followup for such a run is to declare, "I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!"

  • @electricbayonet2 hahahah thats funny as hell

  • this is proof why big boys should be put on special teams also

  • Brady was just like: "Wow, uh... okay."

  • Oh you gotta be kidding me

  • Sorry Devin Hester, you would have been the number 1 play this week, but NOT THIS WEEK! And DeSean Jackson had his punt return earlier in the day too.

  • Even though I hate the pats (I am a Bills fan) that was good.

  • lol.... 0:44 Block in the back on the kicker..Patriots, you little cheaters, you(:

  • The reason why the ref missed the block in the back by 34 was because they were stunned by Dan Connolly

  • fastest player in the nfl

  • 0:15 Pretty sure that's a block in the back. Still awesome overall, but should've been brought back.

  • Once he got around that corner no one was gonna catch him

  • Trying to understand football rules a bit better. How come the Patriots 34 block on Green Bay's #2 wasn't an illegal block in the back? It sure looked like he shoved him in the back.

  • I donno nothing about football, but why is it so unprecedented that a lineman does this? If the punt is short then a lineman cathces it, no?

    Are there more like this?

  • @Lorenshyne Usually they lead, or block, and are not known for their "hands". Typically, if a Lineman catches a short kickoff, or On Sides Kick, they'll down themselves, or allow to be tackled. Youtube the NFL films version of this game, and he explains why he carried the ball the way he did.

  • @Lorenshyne lol when the linemen catch it they just take a knee. they usually dont run it back

  • these guys are so freakish that im an averaged speed person and this guy would prbably blow me away in speed

  • better than hester and cribs combined

  • I wish he would have scored

  • run fat boy run!

  • I love when lineman get the football. BIG MAN WITH THE BALL!

  • I bet he used all of the air tank on the sideline.

  • 36 people dont have a career highlight

  • For all you aspiring running backs and returners out there, you can see football is NOT all about speed. Being patient and following your blocks is much more important. Did you see the guy tiptoe for a second then explode once he saw daylight...Yeah there was luck involved, but his eyes were def open.

  • anybody else see the clip at 0:45? holy shit talk about refs with bad eyes

  • @HeGonBeAlright WHat happened on that clip?
