Never got the "love of the flag" thing. It just shows you how diffirent people get by bee'n born in other cultures. If someone want's to burn my countrys flag, i'd hand them the matches. @ZeaMoore4 I understand your question. To most here in the states, people see the flag as a symbol of our love for our country and as a symbol for our freedom. By winning our freedom through war from Kingdom of GB, the flag was something that united our people. Like a wedding ring bonds two people in love our flag bonded our nation.
