The book of Daniel chapter 1 is a clear message to how your lifestyle and foods will affect your results... be wise!
Plus : Genesis 1 : 29 Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.
Hi. I am a new subscriber to your channel. I'd like to know what are your thoughts on legumes. They are good to eat right? But the ONLY way to eat legumes is by cooking them. I'm currently a vegetarian and I'm considering a raw food diet but I am concerned about protein. If not from legumes...from what?
In fact, if you should eat anything raw, it should be meat. (from grass fed, healthy animals of course) Not vegetables, which our systems can not even digest without heat. Bring me supporting evidence, not some religious mambo jambo. I'm sorry for being harsh, but that's the truth.
@milcky16 Yes, that is exactly what i am saying. Vegetables are covered in cellulose and anti-nutrients, which our bodies unfortunately cannot digest rendering it's nutrients and minerals useless to us. Heating vegetables breaks this down making it far easier to digest.
@MrAria44 That's not true. Raw vegetables have enzymes that help digest them. When you cook them it kills the enzymes and makes them harding to digest and I don't suggest anyone eat raw meat.
@thedurianking I'm sorry, but it is highly unlikely enzymes even survive in the stomach! Please post some scientific data supporting your claims at least?
@MrAria44 I'm a student of food human nutrition at university, and I'm telling you - you are wrong with that statement. Yes, vegetables consists also of cellulose that humans cannot digest, but we utilize it to help with bowel movements. Where did you learn that humans cannot digest raw vegetables? [Then how come we eat salads??]
I'm sorry, but our bodies were not designed to eat fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. If you would like to bring in scientific evidence to support such claims, that would be great. From what i understand, we were originally carnivores until the invention of fire. This brings me to my second point, and that is that the raw food diet holds no water or factual affirmation. If it were not for cooked foods, our brains would have not evolved to what we are today.
@MrAria44 Use your brain, what natural tools does your body has to hunt animals? None. And until the develop of the human brains to allow using tools for hunting, humans were eating just fruits and some plants because it is what we're designed to obtain and digest. We sure can eat meat and other animal products, but is not optimal, it is like a dog eating apple or rice, he CAN eat it but it is not his optimal food, he's not designed to digest it effectively.
@MrAria44 It has also been proved by Dr. Kouchakoff's that cooked food is toxic to the human body in big amounts. So.. No, it is not because of cooked food that our brains have evolved..
@binfile Links? I'm sure the whole idea of us humans starting out on fruits makes sense, but science goes on the contrary. SO please enlighten me with some actual scientific studies, instead of offending me and making irrelevant comparisons to other species. Also, if humans started out eating JUST fruits and vegetables, they would have died off easily. Especially since they didn't have the gigantic hybrid domesticated fruits we enjoy today and call "natural". Did they thrive on wild berries? lol
@MrAria44 Google Dr Kouchakoff and see for yourself, Science goes on the contrary? Darwin itself suggested that humans started out as just frugivores. Please investigate before talking under the 'science' flag..
Do you have any suggestions for going vegan in a very cold climate? I like to buy local and grow what I can and the only veggies available are dehydrated from summer or root cellar items, but they seem to be better cooked (squash, onions, etc). I do make giant amounts of raw kraut, but if you have any ideas or a video you could share that would be awesome. If I was still in Fl it would be easy, but in MN it is hard to eat raw and stay local.
Paul what are your opinions on Damaged DNA and genetics. Can raw foods help or even repair these issues. As I'm born with a Congenital condition I would really like as many opinions from raw food gurus and experts as I can to make a sensible decition about whether or not i should go all the way with the raw foods. Thanks!
Do the best you can with what you got! I'm a meat eater, but am trying to go raw vegan for my own reason. It doesn't mean I'm against eating meat because I'm still doing it, but it is something i want to change due to health reasons.
with the moral animals that are ok to eat, how are we to know that part of the bible was mistranslated or rewritten? i guess we arnt to know but that is where we come in and are able to make our own concious decision. I am vegan myself as well and i think because it isnt nessessary to eat meat to live a healthy happy life then i cannot justify eating them, but again, like yourself, that is my personal opinion.
@davidjohn83 Science today confirms the unclean animals in the Bible are worst for our health. Basically you either believe the Bible or you don't but either way it is confirmed what animal meat is the most harmful.
@thedurianking The bible also says the world is flat and it's static. Let's not mix science with "bible". Your argument falls apart quickly in this arena. You keep saying there's a lot more to health then diet. I agree. But you never promote real physichal activity and the version the "raw" diet which you promote is really lacking enough calories for someone to be active on. All in all you give a very fragmented message which is sad for someone who might look to your videos for info.
OK, now the bible is the guiding light? Go to slavespecies DAT com and see where the bible got its information from.

@TheFidelity82 The best way to eat beans are sprouting them. Besides sprouting beans they are really not healthy. They are hard to digest.
