  • Was at this show in July 1984. 4 hour show. Awesome. Would have loved to be at the El Mocambo 9 years earlier. He was carried off stage at that place in Toronto like a wet rag. He had nothing left to give.

  • i was at this show

    rest in peace big man

  • I MISS CLARENCE...(sob)... :'(

  • Many Thanks T-road! So good to hear again, how it was so many years ago. So crisp & quiet, compared to how it became in a show. The 'Evolution' of Jungleland! My fave in concert of all songs to hear over 35yrs & counting. I say counting, b/c the immense loss of Clarence won't stop the Band. He wouldn't have wanted that. Bruce knows it. IDK how, but they will rise from these ashes of such deep sorrow & play again, next year. That's what Clarence was hoping for. That's what BRUCE will do.

  • Rest in Peace "Big Man", it will not be the same without you!! Thanks for the beautiful music, you will definitely be missed by many of us.

  • R.I.P Big Man. I was lucky enough to see you perform this song at Maple Leaf Gardens in 1980; nothing has really topped it since. Your music and generous spirit will continue to be felt for generations to come.

  • RIP Clarence.

  • Bruce played Seneca College in 75 on the BTR tour. Best concert I've ever seen.

  • Suzy Tyrell was not in the E-Street Band in 1984.

  • It's ok... I was there at Exhibition Statium 1984 ...I think it may have been his first Canadian concert! He totally owned it. Bruce is Boss!!

  • @thunderoad005 my mom use to date danny before he died, i meet him and hung out with bruce and everyone, im from the jersey shore..

  • I'm 16 and Springsteen has been my favourite musician for years. I think he may now be my favourite person! Such a legend, his lyrics are inspiring and it amazes me to think that one man can cover so many styles of music and emotions. I really want to see him live while he is still touring, and he is by far the best musician I have ever heard in my view.

  • @harpdude07 Great way to put it. Im almost 16 and feel the same way. My parents both love Springsteen having all the albums, so I've grown up with it. No matter what musci I listen to Bruce is one musician I can always come back to and love the music... its kindof a permenant feeling towards him.

  • @PRRK4Lover It's great to come across someone my age who is the same. I'm not American and my background is not similar to Springsteen's but he makes all his songs relate to me. It's a gift he has I suppose, one not a lot of artists have.

  • @harpdude07 Exactly... I can sortof relate to him being a few hours from his hometown and having that local feel but your right, not many artists have that now.

  • Bruce Springsteen sang about an Angel in 'Greetings from Asbury Park NJ", funny really because he was really singing about himself. He is an angel... Thank you Bruce.

  • You forgot "The Professor" Roy Bittan on Piano.

  • Actually, if this recording is from 1984, then Danny is on the organ. He only left the band for health reasons during the Maigc Tour in '07

  • Honest,, Bolloks all else but at least it's honestly doesn't show any performance.. Might b nice to tell every dick that dials in...

  • Oh, and that dude on the organ is Danny Federicci (Was Danny Federicci). God-Damn Melanoma. He was one of the best (better than Elton John but light years behind Billy Joel).

  • The boot (Bruceleg) this is from is called 'Porn in the USA'. Printed on red vinyl I believe.
